I am glad that Yoda looks like himself in AOTC. He just didn't look right in TPM. If Lucas would say it was an age difference, I think this is not. He is over 800 years old, 10 years would not make a difference in his appearance.

In the current Insider, George says the TPM puppet was made of a different material, giving him a different look . . . my biggest complaint about TPM Yoda is his eyes.

The CGI Yoda in Ep I looked alright though.

Yea, not only does the AOTC Yoda look better, but it finally got to show his true abilities. It was a big improvement over TPM.

ya I loved seeing yoda woop some but, and also look right, but i choose to belive because he so close to the force, and he losing the ability to use it he is aging rapidly.

episode 1 - puppet

episode 2 - CGI

episode 3 - a real yoda, lol?

they have to out do him somehow

I preferred the CG Yoda to the EP1 puppet. However, he needs to have more ear hair to match up with ESB and ROTJ. :D

I thought he looked realistic in AOTC; moreso than the CG Anakin.

Lol! That's because in ESB he didn't have his lightsaber to trim it with Mandalorian Candidat. ;)

TPM yoda sucked big time. I was pretty happy with the AOTC one, kinda reminiscent of ESB and ROTJ.:Pirate:

Have any of you been paying attention to the Episode II merchandise? Look at 99% of related merchandise and you will see that Episode I Yoda (the puppet) is used instead of the new CGI yoda. It is weird seeing "young" Yoda with an older Anakin. ANyone know why Lucas let this slip?

Huh? I'm a bit confused...

I haven't seen puppet Yoda from Episode I since...well Episode I.
