figures with inserts

Whats the deal with the figures with inserts? They are no longer being packaged with inserts, correct? I recently noticed two local stores have a bunch of figures with inserts. The only ones I can seem to find with inserts are Boba Fett and Dexter Jetster. And of course the impossible to find figures like Yoda, Dooku, and HD Ani. So my main question is, should I be getting the figures with inserts first, are they more rare and gonna be worth more than the figures without inserts? Any info or feedback would be appreciated. Only the first 14 figures had the inserts.....

I've had a few that came with 'em.....(Geonosian, Dexter, Shaak Ti, Super Battle Droid)

but, I'm a loose collector, so I could care less whether or not they included them.....

The first 16 came with inserts.

I just threw all of my inserts away. I didn't find them worth saving. Kind of like the force files.
