As BigBarada and SirSteve found out on opening day, saving your sig-line can be tricky. If you SAVE your signature line edit and then click the "Submit Modifications" button on the next screen, that erases your signature line. Here's how Barada put it ...don't click on the "Submit Modifications" button, just click on Save in the Edit Signature section and then go directly to the main page of the forums.
