They're only pre-sells. Best chance is to just wait, they're not that good of figures when you think about it and with just a little patience you can get them for $5.88 at Wal-Mart. Granted they definitely won't be there on the 23rd most likely, still though. :)

Nah, thanks but no thanks. Its a Pre-sell, the guy just "borrowed" the Hasbro pics. He doesnt have them.

The seller does not currently have the figures. He's expecting them at the specified date, and when he gets them, he will send them to the winner.
That's a presell. That's also the reason that no one has bid on these yet, for the most part.

Ugh, I hate people that don't mention in their auction heading that stuff is pre-sells. I also hate seeing this line in people's auctions cause it's a complete load of bull.
"Don't get caught short, the stores will be short-ordering after the glut of Episode 1 merchandise."
Everything will be in large supplies, all the reports of pallet fulls of the figures waiting for April 23rd proves that.

If it's a presell that means the person that is selling it does not have it (in hand) yet. But if you win the auction he will sent it to you when he gets it (whenever that may be). So the seller is more than likely a store, not an individual. Not too promising in my opinion. But then again I'm not much for Ebay though.

S'ok, you just mis-understood, I saw those same auctions earlier today and almost didn't see they were pre-sells also.

That's ok, you didn't know. No harm no foul.
If you notice though, all AOTC figures that are "IN hand" are being bid up into the $20-$30 range, yet most pre-sells aren't being bid on at all.

Did you notice that the guy mentioned that they would be out mid April through sometime May?? He also guanteed a mint figure on a mint/near mint card. Now how is he supposed to know that?? Geez... All his figs could end up coming ripped or water soaked, which has happened to me a few times. See thats why I hate Ebay so much. Too much false advertising going on there.

Hey, come to think of it, what IS the deal with pre-sales on eBay? There's a Ki-Adi-Mundi 12" up for auction right now even though, last I'd heard, he hasn't even been announced for release, and it's still up in the air whether or not he'll be a Fanclub exclusive!

Easy for scalpers to get dough without having the item early and then later on since they usually ask for just a "down payment" on it, they keep that and then forget about the whole situation not caring wether or not the buyer remembers or not when the item is released.
