While I haven't been to Hagerstown this week, I did see the repackaged Wal Mart exclusive Galactic Heroes Millennium Falcon at my two local PA stores. I'm thinking about getting this again for my sons birthday since he played with his original one to it's death.

They also had the exclusive Transformers repaints which I did pick up Big Daddy to go with my son's Cybertron Downshift.

I found a really nasty virus that starts off as a sore throat and ear ache and ends up with copious amounts of watery mucous constantly dripping from my nose.

Also, a buddy got the Aayla Secura JSF from target the other day. He says it looks great (I haven't seen it yet.) I still think I'd pass on it even if it came with a autographed picture of Amy Allen wearing her Jedi outfit:love:.

I preordered the kotobukiya x-wing from BBTS the other day. It looks like it's going to be pretty sweet.

Not SW related...but for fans of Lost, I picked up all of series 2: Sawyer, Mr. Eko, Jin & Sun for under $20 at my local KayBee Toys in Arundel Mills Mall. With all the extras, it probably explains why Todd McF. cancelled wave 3, which had some decent characters. I heard Targets are getting Fans' Choice SL.

I found remnants of wave 2 at the TRU in Frederick yesterday. I picked up the Vader for a collecting buddy and another EVO trooper for myself. I'm still looking for more Black guards, but apparently so are a lot of people.

The cashier told me to come back on may 1st because some new SW exclusives will be out. She said they had been mistakenly put out earlier and the computer wouldn't let them be sold so all of them were carted to the back. The only things I know of coming out at TRU next month are some exclusive battlepacks (there were no battlepacks out in their SW display,) so that might be it. It could also be the White TIE, but those are hitting the shelves out west. If anyone else has any theories I'd love to hear them.

Also, I missed the G.I. Joe commanding officers pack with Grunt, Hawk, and Duke. If anyone sees one can you pick it up for me? I'll gladly pay for it and the shipping.

Saw the new IJ figs and heroes at the Clinton WM (which hardly ever has anything) yesterday...did not even try buying after the scanner said "see associate for help". Probably will get the Heroes line and pass on most of the figs.

Basic SW figures are now scanning as NCF (not carry forward) at Target, meaning they are phasing them out.

What is the skin tone difference with Mariss? Cutting back on variants but still curious as to what it is.

A WM in Frederick had 3 EpII clones, a couple all white sandtroopers and interestingly, 4 McQuarrie Han Solo's yesterday.

I wonder if a scalper couldn't unload them on Ebay and brought them back or if they're part of some weird case assortment and I missed the others in it.

I'm doing this as an edit rather than a new post: For the Joe fans out there, I just found the GI Joe 3 pack with Grunt at TRU in Frederick. They had more of all except the CG pack.

In case you all haven't heard, there were some really bad storms that ripped through my area of VA today, spawning tornadoes that did some major damage. Severe weather isn't a stranger to this area, but tornadoes certainly are (as you all are probably aware). I have lived in this area for almost 30 years and have never seen anything like it. Some of the pictures and video that have been playing on the news here today have been unreal. Its just hard to believe the damage caused by these things, especially in an area that is not prone for tornadoes. Even if the conditions are favorable for a tornado (which alone doesn't happen very often), they hardly ever touch down, and if they do, they do hardly any damage if any at all. So today was a real eye-opener for a lot of us.

Right now the story is featured on Yahoo's home page and has obviously made national news. Its also featured at CNN and the like.

Tornadoes are (luckily) a rare thing in this area, but they can really cause a lot of devastation. We just aren't prepared for them or used to them. One actually hit back home in Buchanan county, Virginia a few years ago. I don't recall hearing of any damage, but it was a real eye opener. I thought there was no way a twister could get in between the mountians, but it found a way.

Nothing new on the figure front - except a Saga '06 Vader joined the 23 Jerjerrods and 3 Padmes for a brief while at Springfield Target. :rolleyes:

Spent way too much $$$ on IJ today, but whatthehey! Picked up all of wave 2 between Hanover & Glen Burnie SuperWalMart; also some deluxe & both 12" Indys, as well as the German convoy truck. I went to several Targets only to find...nothing. I don't know about TRU.

Yes! I actually went into the Hagerstown Target a few weeks back to return a couple things and couldn't resist the toy aisle. Low and behold they had the entire wave. I did a happy dance since I wasn't even looking for these and scored them. I'm so glad I didn't pay outrageous prices on ebay. Thanks for looking out for me.

Went to TRU looking for the STAP attack BP which they, of course, did not have. I did find the newest saga legends wave though. For myself I got a neyo, Zev, and a Blackhole stormtrooper (for the black coin.) I picked up a whole set for a friend though.

WM finally put the capture of the Tantive IV battlepack on clearance for $15. I picked one up for the troop builders and need to find a creative way to dispose of the vader.

Target, both WM's and TRU have all gotten in waves 1 and 2 this week, but I still haven't seen a black Imperial guard on the shelves. Someone around here (with too much time on their hands to stake out toy aisles) must be army building them.

I got the STAP attack set today at TRU in Frederick. It's a really nice set and not a bad value for the money IMO. Great paint jobs on all the pieces.

The hoth patrol one can stay on the shelves for the kiddies. It looked like the only difference was a little snow on the Taun-Taun.

We picked May, thinking with no Celebration show, SW Weekends would be back in their usual month. Of course..they picked June this year. Oh well! Hoping to see Narnia II this w/e...getting great reviews. I'll keep an eye out for Stap Attack set.

I was in WM today and couldn't help peeking in the toy aisle despite being caught up. They put out at least 2 cases of FU figures. That was only the second time I'd seen the black imperial guard in the wild. I didn't get anything, but it was nice to see more than sandtroopers and clones on the pegs for once.

I have to go down to Grundy, my grandmother decided to stop driving and is "trading" cars with me. She'll have my '99 Passat for emergencies and I'll have her '04 car with 12,000 miles on it that is quite a bit nicer than I could afford otherwise.

Checked two DC area WMs today for the Droid and comic packs and saw zippy. But I lucked out at the Target at Potomac Yards - the Rancor is on clearance for $20.00 and the Jedi/Clone tube things are 50% off as well. So much for the news a few weeks ago about these not going on clearance.

The Target in Frederick has them in stock and apparently secured well in the back under armed guard. They threatened to cut off my favorite body part if I asked them to sell one to me early. I really like my nose so I'll wait a few more days.

Just so no one takes me seriously, they do have them and they won't sell them yet, but no fanboys were threatened or harmed in the production of this post.

Well, I put it together last night. We just bought a new house a few weeks ago so I've been busy. I didn't get a chance to apply the decals or find working batteries. It is awesome. Very very very awesome. I totally had a flashback to a Christmas morning 20+ years ago. I only got to fiddle around with the pack in Han & Chewie as all my toys are still in boxes from the move.

Like I said, awesome. Is it $149 awesome? Not really. This should have been $99. Oh well. I won't be getting the Clone Wars stuff (I hope I can resist) so this should be an ok purchase

You don't have to. Certain parts will be repeated in the repacks, but if you buy only all the new figures, you will still get all the parts you need for all the droids.

You don't have to. Certain parts will be repeated in the repacks, but if you buy only all the new figures, you will still get all the parts you need for all the droids.

The Princeton, WV Wal-mart still has the cantina sets available from 2 years ago with all the band and dancers. The sticker said $20 each (I might have gotten them if they were 10.) I did pick up another Watto R2T0 and Luke R2D2 2 pack because the paint jobs were better than the ones I already had.

KH if there is anything worth picking up in Bburg/Cburg please post asap and I can stop on my way home tomorrow.

I did find (and went ahead and bought) the titanium cloud car, wedge's X-wing, and the repaint cylon raider at TRU while on a scouting mission today. Everything else was securely stowed in the back. I was really hoping for a preview of the prices of things at TRU compared to WM and Target.

Congrats :thumbsup: and good luck on the sale. Your townhouse is sweet and I'm sure it will get snatched up quickly. We ended up putting a contract in and closing in 3 weeks on a house in Waynesboro, PA last month. The price dropped so dramatically that we pounced on it.

Anyway, back on topic. I absolutely hate Hasbro & George Lucas. I hadn't planned on buying into the Clone Wars line. But I did pick up a few over the weekend (I love the clone trooper design) to the displeasure of my wife.

I figure it's a trade off. She gets a pedicure every few weeks so I should be allowed to buy my toys! She actually doesn't get mad when I purchase high end stuff because it's more "grown up". :rolleyes:

I took my son to see Clone Wars Friday night. Not too bad, definitely for the kiddies. We checked out the Hagerstown TRU afterwards and I found the old Clone Wars Anakin modified starfighter. I had it way back when but sold it on ebay for an outrageous price. I'm glad I found it again!

Thankfully there isn't much coming out that I'm buying at the stores which is saving me $$$. I've been lucky to come across both of the Batman chase figures at Hagerstown Wal Mart & TRU when I wasn't even looking for them!

I was looking forward to the Darth Talon pack more so than that one, but after opening them I have to say that the Imp nights is one of the best sets they've made so far. The sculpt is fantastic in articulation and detail. The choice of orange for the hair of one of the Knights is a little questionable, but I can deal with it. I'm tempted to army build these and do as many head swaps as possible.

Darth Talon is almost as good as I would have wanted. She only needs articulated elbows. Cade is perfectly acceptable and exactly what I would have wanted (except for the eye paint which was a little sloppy.) After reading these comics, I hope we get a few more of the new sith order soon.

I picked up the Force Unleashed for the Wii last week. I was a bit disappointed they didn't make if for the PC.

If you have a Wii, this is a great game for the Wii-mote and highly suggest picking up a copy. The graphics aren't as great as the Xbox & PS3, but it is really fun slicing and dicing.

Otherwise, I don't have much desire to pick up anything lately. I do want the Lars Homestead but not at $50 - ouch!

Sorry everybody... I was only able to get the one. The general consensus on one of the otheR boards is that it was a store based error as a number of Walmarts have them price reduced at $125. But I will keep my eyes open just in case...

Did you actually see the battle packs? A buddy of mine checked targets in Rockville, Gaithersburg and Frederick yesterday. All had shelf tags and Rockvilles computer had them listed as in stock and on the shelves but they were nowhere to be found at any of the places.

I'm wondering if they're just getting ready for them and they'll be out next week. I really want the Sarlacc but probably won't find it if it's a black friday thing.
