North Glen Burnie TRU had Bantha sets which I'm passing on...I prefer the old POTF set, and that 44.99 price point is just wrong. 29.99 would make more sense.

TAC wave 2 and new comic packs were out at Frederick Target this morning. Someone hit before me and cleaned out the McFetts, but everything else was there. I snagged the two remaining DSTs to complete my little squad of three, but there are plenty of Lukes, Hanszz, Biggszz, and RHGs. I had to get an associate to pull the comic packs from the back. She had five cases worth, and I only grabbed a Vos/Villie set and left the rest. She returned everything everything to the back, so if anyone wants to hit them up, just use 087-06-1991.

Found the V-Wing and Sith Infil at the Falls Church Target today. Looks like they had one case of TAC...saw leftovers of Lava, DST, etc. No sign of the comic packs yet.

Picked up a Titanium Icy Turbo Tank and ARC-170 repiant last night. Today I grabbed up a Obi-Wan/Alpha 2 pack from Target, had them run the DPCI for it and they brought it from the back. It is 087-06-1991 if anyone wants them to run it and needs them. It is about the only 2 pack I will get.

Also, WM on 26 had the new comic packs today so I bought a set to open. Those figures are great this time. I tried to swap the head on the Luks stromtrooper with that awful piece of carp on the new ceremonial, but it wouldn't fit. You also can't swap heads B/W the death star trooper and honor guard. I would have bought 2 more of each if it had worked.

Too early in the AM for packages, so I will update later if they come in.

Swung by Target on the way to traffic court this morning and the day started well. I had them run the DCPI for the TAC wave 2 and they had a fresh case. Took the 2 McBoba's. 1 is going to El Chuxter for now since he asked me a few months back to grab them if he hadnt found them. Unsure on the 2nd one yet. MM74MD is sending me one, and I dont know if I want to keep one sealed and one opened, only keep one, or open both to display with the 2 heads. Will update you guys on that if anyone needs one.

Also swung by WM after Traffic court, which both tickets got dismissed.(Fixed the issues that I got tickets for, 2nd good thing within an hour) and WM had the 2 new comic 2 packs. I am going back for the Quilian/Villie pack because Vos was in the movie(even thoug it was done after it was made) so it legitamizes a purchases, not straight EU. Alpha is a clone commander and Obi-Wan is inthe movies(without) the mask, so I got that the other day.

So three good things before 9am, not a bad day. Hopefully get the packages today and it will top it all off for a great day.

New Force Comics will be shipping my vintage figures soon. They still have more available. If you split a case of 12 with someone it's actually a little cheaper than buying them in the stores (even with shipping.) Plus you don't have to run all over creation trying to find the snowtrooper.

New vintage figures at TRU in Frederick today. I got the last snowtrooper, a bossk and an IG-88. SOmeone had stashed a luke bespin in a bin above, so I unstashed it. Plenty of leia, han, the one luke, another IG-88 and a bossk left.

Also had all the comic packs except ben and arc trooper.

Found a McQuarrie Stormie today at TRU in Frederick. They still have a Boba on the pegs and lots of other wave 2. The skin tone on the Luke looked a little darker (I didn't buy it, so no pics.) I don't know if they're doing a running change or it was the lighting in there.

Legends wave 1 was at TRU today. I picked up the battle droid 2 pack (the paint job is too good to pass up) and a SA episode 2 clone. Plenty more ep 2 and 3 clone troopers but no more battle droids. The rest of the wave will probably sit there and rot unless kids somehow missed the figures the last 6 times they were released over the last couple of years.

Found TAC Wave 3 at Frederick Target this morning. I grabbed all the good stuff, but there are a few Vaders and Lukes still there. A quick DCPI check showed they have TAC and Saga Legends (or could just be old 2006 Saga) stuff in the back, but I'm guessing they're holding off on putting anything else out until they reset to get all the Transformers movie stuff out for tomorrow.

As for the Frederick crew, well I no longer work in Frederick. I was supposed to start a new job at Letterkenny Army base in Chambersburg last Tuesday and took a week off from Wells Fargo before that. Well, as per the norm with gov't work, the proper "paperwork" hasn't been completed so I'm still chillin' in my pj's here at home.

Soooooo, I've been stressing out and not in the mood to do much other than mope around and upgrade to Vista which caused more stress.

I am still here and will still check the forums & post anything I find in Hagerstown.

Because of his dehabilitating condition, it's considered life-threatening...and I'm so proud of what he's gone thru for so long(infusion treatments every 3 weeks & the like). The great news is: he's just been approved for Make-A-Wish...so we have to come up with 2 ideas(geez, I know what I would wish for!!!).

WM on 26 in Frederick put out the saga legends wave sunday. I snagged 2 of the 3 sets of battle droids and a shock trooper. Hopefully the kiddies will get rid of the rest for us and make room for some more TAC.

Everything was, of course, on the wrong pegs with no respect given to the different stock numbers for TAC and legends. I just don't think the average toy stocker cares enough to do this correctly. If this keeps up, we're going to be swimming in legends figures by the end of the year and TAC will be impossible to find.

Toys R Us in Glen Burnie had good stock on all 6 Vintage, most of Saga Legends(except Maul & Shockie), V-wing Titanium wave, Mace/Obi's starfighters in new TAC pkging & some TAC wave 3(no McChewie). F.Y.I. Hallmark has a cool just for Father's Day Darth Vader sound card which features his famous "I Am Your Father" clip plus raspy breathing.

I picked up the R2 and Jawa ornament today. I want the falcon as well, but I'd better leave it for my sister in law to get me for christmas. She always gets me one of these evert year and I ended up with 2 at-at's last year since I'd already bought one for myself.

They still had one Tusken left (the display piece,) but I can't really see putting that on our Christmas tree so I passed.

TRU in Frederick got in an old case of saga figures with a strange case assortment (or someone returned these after they didn't go on e-bay.) There were 3 appo's, 2 elite corp troopers (I picked these up), an Endor Luke and a few other figures.

I also got a McQuarrie Chewie. It was the first one I'd seen in the wild so I thought I needed it.

I also saw the newly boxed Vader's TIE at Target the other day. I passed since it's a stright repack.

I doubt they would consider the prototype vehicles in anything but titanium scale, but I'd buy them in a second. If I remember correctly, it looks a lot like a Z-95 headhunter and I still love blowing those up playing TIE fighter. I don't think I've ever seen an early TIE though.

Well, fellas. I'm back from the dead.

Took several months off from collecting (before the TAC's came out) and almost got out of the hobby altogether. But all that changed this past March when my wife & I welcomed our first child (an 8lb 7oz boy) into the world.

But now I'm back in the game. I've decided that all my current & future figures would be his (some day). Sorry I haven't posted in so long, but I haven't been the first in the group to find anything new or exciting.

The only downside to taking so much time off from collecting is that I missed some of the final waves from the SAGA collection. But I can live with it. Thankfully I'm up to date on the TAC figs & waiting on wave 4 to hit.

I ventured into Hagerstown Wal Mart around 1 am after seeing Bourne Ultimatum (awesome) and found Legends Wave 2 and lots and lots and lots of lots (and did I mention lots?) of TAC Wave 2 & 3 (no McFigs of course)

I picked up 1 of the "new" 501st, 1 "new" Sandtrooper, and 2 packs of the Red Battle Droid 2 packs. It must have been Legends Wave 2 Revision 1 since there we no signs of the Destroyer Droid which I want lots of.

Went to WM today; they had a McQuarrie Fett and Stormtrooper, which kind of surprised me. I didn't need either of them but I stashed them encase any of you fellas needed them. Card condition was okay, the stormtrooper was in really good shape, the fett had a little creasing on the j-hook, but not too bad; overall they were both in pretty good shape. Let me know if interested and I'll go back and snag them (if nobody found them that is).

Oh yeah, while looking for breast pump parts saturday at TRU in Frederick I got a new sandtrooper and the red battle droids. Still no sign of the interceptor in Frederick.

Thanks to a tip from a fellow collector...I was able to get an Umpass, the ROTJ Luke(just what we need, another LUke) & the pig-faced alien. Arundel Mills WalMart may have sold out of the same case yesterday. Every one else is choked to the gills with Saga Legends.

Hit Pot. Mills WalMart this morning on the way to work and found them unpacking a ton of figs onto an endcap. They had a bunch of wave 2 Legends and a couple of cases of Wave 4. From the looks of it they were wave 4 rev 4 (no McQ Vader or CZ-4). I swore to myself that I wasn't gonna do the UGH thing this time around, but when I saw the McQ Chewy sitting right in front with all his gold, I had to get him. Still really want that McQ Vader though.

From what I've heard...TAC wave 4.4 finally hit Friday at south Glen Burnie WalMart. When I stopped back yesterday from my way home from OC, I only saw 2 ROTJ Lukes, and a ton of Airborne Troopers. OC was a joke; their WalMart had a whole section of just Moffjerjerrods & "Deity" C3PO from Saga.

I just ordered 2 Animated Boba Fetts, Elis Herlot, and Umpass Stay from Amazon.com They had free shipping on $25+ orders. Total came to 30 dollars. I wasnt paying 35 for McVader or 20 for CZ-4. Shove the Luke. It looks like carp.

My wave 5 case arrived yesterday. Definitely the best wave this year. Darth Malak and Revan look great. Hermi Odle is a little cartoony in his paint job, but I'm not complaining much. The Anakin with the blue marks had to be done at some point I guess. It looks great although I might have preferred the resources going toward another figure. The same kind of goes for Roron Corob, but at least the execution was really good. Pre-cyborg Grievous doesn't disappoint either. C3P0 looks great if you don't consider the long thing sticking out of the back of his head. Starkiller hero is up to the standards of the rest of the McQuarrie figures. Yoda on Kybuck is one of the best figures I've seen recently. Honestly, I could skip the yoda, but I love the kybuck. Finally, finding a second Vader McQuarrie without having to look in every store around here for weeks is priceless.

Also TRU in Frederick had Y-wings and Tie Ints yesterday. WM's are so clogged with clones, Chewbaccas, and Mace's that I don't expect to see anything new for weeks.

I think most of us are frustrated with retail right now. I have also prebooked wave 5 from an online retailer. TRU literally has multiple hot wheel scalpers lined up at opening for gold coin chase figs. Just ain't worth the gas anymore!

It's showing "out of stock", but that's just Hasbro's way of placing a prebook, I guess. I was on alert for this after getting the new SW Insider over the weekend & seeing the full page ad...so I guess they put it up sometime Sunday.

Found remnants of TAC wave 4 this afternoon at the Bailey's Xroads TRU - M'iiyoom, Luke and surprisingly an animated Boba. Also saw their exclusive Legos - may have to get the cruiser. The UFC? Vader Tie looks good too.

I guess my patience(or blind damn luck) persevered...I got done work early today, called around & Bowie, Md WalMart(the place to check right now from what I'm reading...especially in VA) put out wave 5. The nice toy dept lady couldn't hold them, but if you come right now...I'm there at 1pm; got all of wave 5 plus three UGH gold coiners & Concept Vader from wave 4. Where, oh where is CZ-4???

Well, over the last few days I have hit multiple stores all with no avail until the last one I hit today. Out of 14 trips to Wm's, Kmarts, and Targets and 1 KB most of them only had nothing beyond wave 3 of figures. KB had 4 figures all of them TSC and one WM had about 27 TSC figs only. I did manage to find waves 1 and 2 of the legends and got the following:

From what Hasbro said to GalacticHunter.com(see our home page Q&A), some of wave 5 slipped out prematurely...and they want to get out full case assortments of wave 4 first.

Just picked up darktroopers, pit droids, and yellow clone commander at HTS.

Went to TRU in Frederick today. They are absolutely choking on wave 3 and legends wave 1. If I didn't have to buy diapers periodically (for the kid, not for me), I wouldn't even bother going back in there for a month or so.

I still haven't seen the new wave of titaniums at retail (I got all but the BSG ones from BBTS.)

I was in California last week for work and didn't see a single star wars toy. I did see a humpback whale in Monterey Bay and a great white shark at the Monterey aquarium though.

Was surprised to see a few (Boba, Airborne, McChew) UGHs at the Kingstowne TRU around noon today. They were pretty beat up other than the McChew, which I bought. The WM had nothing. The Springfield Target and KB - nothing.
Clinton TRU and WM (can't recall the last time that WM had much of any toys, let alone SW).
Potomac Yard Target - nothing.

Traveled a lot this morning...nothing at Woodbridge WM or TRU, Springfield Target, KB, TRU or WM, Baileys Xroads TRU, Route 1 WM, Clinton WM. Did find Umpass and Helrot at the Clinton TRU, and got an UGH Airborne Trooper free with the sale. Also looks like the TRU X-Wing has been marked down to $40.

TRU Frederick has the arena battlepack. The Acklay looks much better due to the new paint, the Reek and nexu might be repainted a little also.

Nonetheless, the differences aren't worth 60 of my hard earned dollars. For $40 I might buy it and for $30 it would be a no-brainer.

I friend got me the new Battlestar Galactica titaniums at the WM in Leesburg yesterday. I also made the rounds during an incubation step today and found no figures past wave 3 anywhere.
