Many of you(thankfully) do not know about a thread I was involved in over the weekend. This thread got way out hand.
"petty" and "Childish' are perfect descriptions of my personal behavior there.
I am truely sorry for the way I said the things that I did.
I am also sorry that my attitude may have damaged any newcomers opinion of these forums or this site in general.
My temper is a major personal flaw that I have. It's the magnet to my moral compass.
I will not try to justify my actions in any way.Unacceptable period.
I decided to run my mouth in public and I will appologize in like manner.
Cotasnoova,I am sorry for the way I spoke to you.I still do not agree with you but that is not the matter at hand.My behavior was bad at best, and for that I appologize.I suggested that you take up "personal Issues" in a PM because it was none of our business. Then in nothing but sheer hypocricy I then went after you in the open thread.I am sorry.
My motivation here is really not selfish.I have a nephew on these forums who I think the world of.My actions were the poorest example to set for him possible. He is aware of everything that was said by me.
Not funny or appropriate in any way.
To him goes my deepest appology for letting him down.
If this is moderated please do not add this post to my count.I would also ask that any one reading this post would tell others to read it.
Please!! I want this known to all(at least as many as posible).
Get out your buddy lists and have everyone read this.
I want to repair my reputation and the reputation of all here.
Again moderator, I don't know how it works, but if others fulfil my requeat I do not want to benifit from large viewing numbers in any way.
Thank You all for your time.
Dave Bryant (Dryanta)
also please forgive my spelling and grammar. Not a strong suit for me
Apology accepted, Captain Needa . . .
Sorry, I thought you were someone else :D

No problem dryanta. I was invlolved in the so called debate as well as other unnamed regular SSG users. I have apologized to SirSteve for my behavior and would also like to apologize to everyone for the way that I acted. I should have held my tongue, but the person (who will remain anonymous) personally attacked me and I could not let it go. However I am done with the whole subject and I would suggest that if anyone ever finds themselves in this situation just hit the ignore button. It isn't worth your time arguing with someone and possibly facing getting banned. With that said I look forward to enjoying these boards within the next couple of months due to the new movie.

well ... everyone will lose control of their tempers once in a while.
What is important is that you know you did something wrong and apologize.:)
After all, we live to forgive peoples mistake and outburst and expect the same right ....
as long as it does not hurt someone !!!!:D

You are a class act, Dryanta. Best wishes to you.
As another poster who's pushed the envelope of politeness a few times, I also apologize for stepping on anyone's toes in the past.
I still stand by my convictions, but I regret if I've offended any innocent bystanders or our esteemed moderators.

I want to apologize, too.
(I have no idea what this is about... )
Caesar, nobody is hugging me with a RickMc avatar. No way. No how.:)
But seriously. We've ALL said and said things in here that we probably later regretted. I've stuck my foot in my mouth several times. (why, there was this one time when jargo had a big bottle of...er...) but I digress.:sur: I'm glad that everyone is mature enough to realize they crossed a line and can apologize and soon, make jokes. it just goes to show you Star Wars fans are a breed apart. And the SSG crew is the cream of the crop. You'd never see a thread like this in a Nascar forum.. .Too many syllables.

We've all said something at one time or another that we've later regretted. It's nice to be able, on these forums, to have the chance to make amends.
It was sincere, heartfelt, and well said.

I think we all got a little out of hand on that thread, I myself said things I shouldn't have. The one thing that this forum has that no other that I've seen has is respect. Everyone here respects everyone elses opinions for the most part, and that is why this forum is so well respected.
I think all that were involved in that thread forgot that, and that was in part my fault. Once again, I apologize as well.

Well, I for one do NOT accept any of your apologies. I found the behavior offense, unecessary, and quite frankly, immature. I come here to get some quality, clean, Christian entertainment, and you hooligans are running around like uncontrolled tyrants. I am shocked and very disappointed. Now, I'm logging off to go construct an 8' toilet out of boogers and strips of panty hose, but when I get back here, I hope the rest of you have grown up!
To any NASCAR fans - I apologize for laughing at Rollo's syllable joke :)

so is anyone gonna fill us in on what this was all about? the metaphysical implications of the micro machine AT-AT?
or the ethical principles of pre-posed figures?

Sorry derek,I for one will not give out where this all took place. It would defeat the purpose. I did it once inspite of my better judgement in a PM.If you really want to know you can find it,but I wouldn't bother. It was out of hand and really shouldn't be spread around any more than it regretfully already has.
I don't want to seem un helpful here but I just don't want to spread it around again.
I wish it all had been over something as meaningful as your guesses.:)

Everything's cool Dryanta, it's great that you can publicly appologise for your mistakes! Everyone looses it some times!
I'm sure everyone on the SSG Forums accepts your appologies!

I wasn't involved was I? Sorry if I was, I mean, I don't think I was , but just in case, I apologize for anything I may have posted here that has offended anyone. I really do come here to have a good time, and I've never tried to offend anyone. I like all of the characters around here, even the ones I roundly disagree with.
(PS my weekend posts are especially meaningless- WOOOOOOO!!)
It's great to see a thread like this- even though it was provoked by "unpleasantness", it's good to know that we're all on similar pages. Besides, those guys in seattle are making us look bad enough!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Dont worry Dyranta. I read alot of the posts on that thread and I posted once in there myself, so I understand why you would get upset. Its ok man, and I admire you for your dignity to apologize.
Now Caesar, you owe us an apology for that Ric Mcc avatar. :crazed:

Ok Caesar, lets not get crazy here. I just dont want anyone else to get hurt with that avatar. :)
Lets try not to provoke Caesar because he has more Ric avatars and I am sure he is NOT afraid to use them!!
We must bow to his wishes!!
