April, will toys be in my area, the first day?

Everytime I visit the toy section of my local Walmart I become a little more worried that the toys won't be hitting my area on the first release date of the toys in April. I live in a fairly small town, around 35,000 people, and it seems that the stores around here get things much later than other places reported online. So it worries me that the toys may not be on the shelves come the april release date.

Of course I really can't state this from experience because I lived in a much larger city when Episode I opened up, and you could basicly go to any store that had toys and they'd be on the shelf the first day they were released.

So does anyone out there know how these will be distributed? Will they be to stores early to ensure that they will have them on the release dates? Any information you can provide will be very helpful.

Don't worry, you might not get them on the first day, but come May, you will have no trouble getting any AOTC figure you want.

I don't know if all stores will get them early, though. It might be on a store by store basis. If they get them before the release date, they hold them until they can put them out. If they get them after, they'll put them out as soon as they get them.

Most places don't get the new waves in their suspected "release date." I didn't find the deluxe figures until about 2 months afte the "release date," but when I first saw them, it was the first time they were in stores in my area.

I'm willing to bet that if you're talking about a Wal-Mart Jad, they probably will have the toys on the release day, or very soon after. I have a lot of family in very small, East Texas towns, and whenever I go to Wal-marts while I'm out there, they always have the same stock of new toys that the Walmarts here in Dallas do. Even the newly released stuff.

So fear not, I bet you'll see the AOTC toys there the same day we city boys do :D

Well, one is in Pittsburg, TX and the other is in Mineola, TX.

Well I really hope that the toys will be on the shelves around here on the release date. Thats half the fun, getting them the day that there released.

Anyway, do you suppose I could get some information out of the local walmart if I called around the month of April? And ask the toy department if they'll have them or not?

on the release Date April 23th, you can call up wal mart ask for the toy department and ask if they have them

thats what i do.

there's no derect line to the toy department so you have to ask.

Any collectors know if Canada will get figures on the first day as well?? I hope so cause I hate waiting. No patients here!!!:sur:
