I think they are still around, you just can't access them from the main page any more. This link should take you to the old general forums page. From there, you should be able to access the other old forums from the jump forums link at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the link Lord Malakite, that was another thing I was sorry to loose with the front page redesign. The link to the old forums was still fun to browse thru on occassion. :D
