Cause either Steve or Jt have deleted one or more of your messages and so your count goes down with it!

SirSteve and some posters were concerned about post-padding, flooding the system with junk posts just to get a higher rank. I have no idea if one of the other mods did this in your case.

So what exactly counts as post-padding? Just random snot that has been posted? I can understand that, but wasn't that what the old Forum was based upon? Random Snot flung and stuck. That would later become popular? Kinda like my *accidental post* "S" thread.

No, really being serious now, um... random junk? Meatless posts, just stuff like "yeah!" or "really?", posts that don't seem to be meaningful, where the author clearly has little or no interest in responding or getting a response, just packing their postcount.

Oh, and any posts made in the Classifieds or Trading section don't count in your post count. Dunno if that's the story here, but...

Just the trading and classifieds. Yeah, GNT is on a fine line of padding. If padding persists, I will be forced to make a minimum character count in a post.

SSG has just installed new "Purpose Software" that determines just what your intention was with each post. If it's just to do this:

LOL or:

stupid,

then it's sent to your account as a PP (padded post). Or so I've been told. ;) p.s. Padded posts are softer on the skin.

I'm not to sure I understand this post padding.To tell the truth I'm not to concerned with post padding or the ranking.I just want to talk about Star Wars and have a good time.So far I have really enjoyed myself and all the other people who post here.Lets just have a good time and get on with Star Wars.
