EU Top 10 Want list

1.) Exar Kun, the basis for darth maul, the most interesting sith lord, a great look for a jedi/sith character why hasn't he been made as a figure yet? He would be great in the comic 2 packs.

2.)Guri, shadows of the empire was one of the best star wars novels of all time. We got Dash and Xizor, but no Guri? Guri would be great in a comic 2 pack with either a new Xizor with soft goods, or with Lando in storm trooper disguise.

3.)Nom Anor, The vong are apart of the new star wars, they set the height of what star wars could be, and with the realease of Karnor Jax and Kir Kanos why not Nom? Nom would be great in either single or 2 packs, that and he's a interesting looking character.

4.)Nomi Sunrider, Just like Kun but a good version. She's interesting, she's a jedi, she's a female, she has all the criteria to be a good collector oriented chase figure and a good toy...The only thing holding Nomi back is Bastilla from KOTR.

5.)Jacen Solo, Jacen and his recent turn to the dark side in the books would be a great figure, and the possiablites that comes with his release whether it be single or 2 packs, Jacen should be in here somewhere.

6.)Jainia Solo, Just like her brother...minus the dark side stuff, Jainia would be a greay way of brining out a female brash pilot/x-wing pilot something we dont have yet.

7.)Army Builder Vong, Im not a army builder i own 7 storm troopers from vintage kenner till now...but the vong realeased as the clone troopers are now might make me chance my mind on building a plastic army of sci fi terrors.

8.)Tenel Ka or Dathomiran Sith Witch, not the darth maul unused concept art please, but an actual dathomiran witch, she doesn't have to be a sith witch but just a dathomiran would be a good place to start, whether it be Tenel Ka, or other wise.

9.) Kyle Katarn Jedi Knight-Kyle deserves the figure treatment again but as a jedi knight. The first EU version of him based of dark forces was great for it's time but times have changed...we need a jedi knight version of one if not the best EU characters there are.

10.)Lady Vader,Lumiya, a character that first appeared in the old marvel series, Jacen's sith master, a thorn in luke's side, she would make a awesome figure!!!

Thats my top ten, all of these are my personal prefrences what i would buy, and what appeals to my tastes. I know some of if not all of these may not happen for one reason or another but hey it's cool to at least ask!

Unless the Ewok movies and the Holiday Specials are considered EU, then I can't think of a single figure that I want.

I've not read the NJO and beyond yet, so my favorites would be characters from the X-Wing series of books, the Han Solo trilogy by A.C. Crispin, and some of the Jedi from the Jedi Academy. Speak for yourself. There are a lot of EU figures I would like to see. Try out the NJO books, bloodlines, tempest ETC great reads. If not for those books i would have never came back to star wars, needless to say im not a big fan of the prequels and how everything came about being, but the EU books and such hardly ever let me down...The comics on the other hand are a tottally different story, the legacy series started out awesome, and then got very mild, but the characters are really interesting, the x-wing series was really good, i have a soft spot for the unsung hero of star wars be it movies or comics and that hero is WEdge....Baron Fel is cool as well. The han solo trilogy, and the CSA would make great, and Corran Horn would be my #11.

Well the ewok movies aren't but should be EU...People who say Eu sucks should actually have to sit through the ewok movies. The holiday special was before my time but i've heard tales of horror that have came from it. Though action figures based off these horriable attempts at Star wars of the small screen is welcomed...Even though i hate the ewok movies if they made the witch from endor i could actually have a dathomir witch figure! Win win situation.

I don't think it's that BB so much as it's another list thread. This is no offense to Sinscia, since (he) is new here. It's just list threads have gotten to be a bit of a bore. WE can list all day, but if Hasbro doesn't act on them, what good does it do. I used to post lists of army building sets I'd like to see. Those really never came to pass either. So now I don't bother and in fact in most list threads I don't even bother responding.

I only am now to ask that everyone remain civil in the thread.

I'll briefly comment on the topic itself.

I agree with some of the choices though I've not read a single NJO book yet. Not a fan of what they (the writers) did with the force in those.

I'd rather Hasbro concnetrate on the movies first then popular video games and comics, then the occasional book characters.

Yes on both of those!!! I want Ulic Qel-Droma as well. Bastila Shan is rumored in 08 as is Darth Nihilus so they may or may not come to fruition.

Basically, i would support any prequel EU figures. I don't know why but I still can't shake this anti post OT EU bias i have...

Well im not a big KOTOR fan, but i do think the figures have a place in the waves of figures, And i didn't know Nihilus, and Bastila where rumored for 08, at least with bastila being made a customed version of Nomi could be possiable! I would like more than anything for a Tales of the Jedi wave or comic packs. Star wars now owes alot to that landmark series that set the tone and pace for star wars as we know it now. If not for that series we wouldn't have alot of the things we have now, like KOTOR, Darth Maul, and well majority of the prequel based EU comes from this. And as much as i wouldn't tell anyone i know i plan of buying the case assortment that has malack and revan in it....Not only for those but also for the yoda, Hermie, the ithoran jedi, and the anakin.

Awesome list, Talon Karde is a great character and deserves to be made.
Exar Kun will be made eventually i'd say 2009 at the latest, though he needs to be done for more reasons than just the tales of the jedi series, he's also apart of the Jedi Acedemy series as a villian for a book, that and he's classic. Jacen and Jainia like Kun needs to be made and are begging to be apart of a two pack, more than likely in the comic line. I think the Vong would make interesting figures, kid friendly, and collector oriented what more could you ask for. Corran Horn, is a great character, his chances are slim to none for being made but we can hope!

Nogeri as a generic would be a great figure to have and thats another one that alluded me in my list. Though i'd think it has decent odds at getting made eventually, espically with connections to Vader and Leia in the books and other EU stuff.

1.) Mala Mala the maimed girl carried round by a droid who told the emperor that it was Luke Skywalker that destroyed the death star. Accordng to Titan books 'Vader's quest'.

2.) That big Brontosaurus creature friend that Boba Fett friend rides in the holiday special friend.

3.) I can't for the life of me think of the name of the comic but i have an image in my mind of Biggs in regular Tatooine style clothing. some story involving jealousy between Biggs and Fixer. a comic 2-pack of those two would be great.

4.) The Sarlacc. been in many comics and i think a creature pack Sarlacc that you could 'plant' in a sandpit and had a special cavity in the body for 'swallowed' figures.

5.) Tag and Bink. As padawan learners. In their rebel naval trooper uniforms. in stormtrooper disguise. in TIE pilot uniforms. as the emperors royal guards.

6.) The Schinga creature from Tatooine. don't know which comic it's in but it's a big snake/alligator like creature and is based on the bones in the sand when threepio is alone in the desert in ANH. Anyway in the pic i've seen a Swokes Swokes is riding one over a sand dune. and the schinga displays better how those massive bones in the desert would look if the creature were still alive.

7.) Kyle katarn's 'Moldy crow' ship with a new Kyle figure.

8.) Dash rendar's outrider in lrger scale and without the gimmicky fuselage spinning mechanism. just a decent cockpit the ability for the cockpit to rotate like a B-wing, a landing ramp or access hatch, and an area in the body of the ship. landing gear and better weapons and finer detailing. plus a new improved Dash Rendar and a LE-BO2D9 figure.

9.) vehicle twin pack. Dengar's 'Punishing one' and Bossk's 'Hound's tooth' ship (obviously smaller scale but big enough to fit the figure and a prisoner.

10.) vehicle twin pack 2. IG-88's 'IG-2000' and Zuckuss and 4-LOM's Mist hunter.

Personally, I tend to stay away from the Dear Hasbro threads because they are too specific to one person usually and not representative of an actual majority. However, now that I've found this thread, I'm more than happy to participate.

I had often heard that hasbro had devolped a Guri prototype for the shadows line but couldn't get it done in time, she would have been the crowing piece of that line. Though with the comic line Guri may actually have a chance of being made, great character well deserving of a figure.

Kal Skirata, if they only used Ed Haris as the likeness of the figure :) that would truly be awesome. Kal should have been packed in the EE exclusive box set. He would have worked very well in the set from what i can tell of it.

Guri was almost everyone's favorite character from that story and her not being in the figure line was just one of the many ways they messed up and messed up bad on those toys.

As for Kal, I'm holding out hope that one day they may make an SA Boba Fett. It's an obvious choice for the SA treatment and that's ignoring the fact that it's requested almost any time a fan opens his mouth. If they made that figure, then I want it to be repainted/modified for Jango, Kal, Waylon Vau, Ghez Hokan and many others.

I was looking through the Star Wars wiki to jog my memory for characters from each book or comic. I realized that I had forgotten quite a few of the characters from the X-Wing series of books, and that was one of my favorites. Most of them will probably have to be left of the list for the reason you state. Too obscure and wouldn't sell.

Well, strictly speaking, I'd want the chest to be like the SA clone, but I really hadn't looked closely at that Boba Fett. I opened him, threw him in my Jabba's palace diorama and never really looked at him. Had I realized he was as articulated as he is, I probably wouldn't have made my comment.
