Ultron
Black Widow
Mystique
Doc Samson
These from your list are at least coming according to Wal-Mart computers.
Also, Marvel.Com has a feature up about the Hulk SHS series.
Wave II should be starting to show up in stores any day now.

Some good news. Anyone who missed Black Cat, Puma, and Mysterio when they were released last year... they're back in stock at Hasbro Toy Shop. So maybe this gives us hope of seeing Beast/Iceman and others again soon.

Entertainment Earth confirmed the 3rd Wave of Hulk SHS today.
Grey Hulk & Leader
Hulk & Zzzax
Red Hulk & Doc Sampson
Hulk & Son Of Hulk
Some SHS news from the various Q&A's showing up right now.
Glad that we're finally getting some news, since so many people have been foaming at the mouth waiting for Professor Xavier and Shadowcat w/ Lockheed to be released. Sounds like we won't be getting Collector's Pack #2. But we may be getting at least some of the figures from it. Hopefully for those who missed Series IV Beast he's in there also.
From Toymania's Q&A with Hasbro.
5. Any chance of a Superhero Squad boxset featuring the 90s X-Men Animated characters and designs (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Professor X)?
Answer: There will be a cool new boxset coming out late in the Fall (at Toys R Us) that will feature an X-Mansion theme. It isn't specifically 90's, but it does feature Professor X, Kitty with Lockheed and 6 other X-Men faves. You'll get your 1st look at this one at SDCC this week!
http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/10479.shtml
And from Cool Toy Review Q&A with Hasbro:
Cool Toy Review: Will there be any play sets in the future for super hero squad figures. a xmen jet, danger room , avengers mansion, etc. I also wanted to say thanks because my son really like these guys and it is so cool to hear him play with them and hear him talk about all there powers it really brings me back to when i used to collect comics.
Hasbro: Love to hear it! Sharing the whole Marvel Universe with the youngest of fans is the best part of the Squad line. That's why we recently added the bio bursts to the back of every package - so that parents and kids alike could learn about the super powers for each and every figure. For 2008, there's a new Hulk themed gamma playset hitting Toys R Us stores right about now. There will also be a lot of great items coming out for the Squad brand in 2009, but we can't give those details away just yet.

Regardless of what the above Q&A seemed to indicate, Hasbro did go ahead with simply releasing the originally planned 'Collector's Pack #2'. Which is great, since I didn't want to lose out on any of the retools and repaints. Can't wait for Xavier and Shadowcat w/ Lockheed. And that vac metal Silver Surfer is the shiz. The only one who isn't as much of a big deal anymore is Spider-Man. The rest rock.

I'm new to this list. From what I've seen so far, it'll be a tremendous help and support for me in my collecting.
I started out with just the Spider-man figures, for my son. I haven't read a comic book in years, I stopped when they got too expensive and storylines started getting confusing and complicated. I've gone into comic shops now and again, and thumbed through the latest issues of my former favorites, and don't even recognize them any more, they've changed so much.
I started reading comics in the early 60s as a pre-teen, and would have been thrilled to have had the SHS figures back then! So in addition to buying the Spider-man figures for my son, the inner child in me is making me collect my own set of figures! I'm "old school", and really into groups, so I have the 4 original Fantastic 4 members (and the other characters that came with them); the original Avengers (Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Wasp, Antman, and Hawkeye -- missed getting Vision, and waiting for them to come out with Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch, Hercules, Black Knight and Wonder Man to complete "Wave 2" of Avengers!); the Defenders (Dr. Strange, Hulk, Namor, Silver Surfer -- wish they would come out with Valkyrie, and glad to see Nighthawk is coming soon); and my favorite group, the X-men! I have Cyclops & Magneto, Phoenix & Wolverine, Angel & Colossus, Storm, Sabertooth, but missed Rogue & Gambit, Iceman & Beast, and Nightcrawler & Juggernaut. Too expensive shopping for them on eBay, so just biding my time until they do a re-release maybe? Excited about upcoming Prof. X & Kitty Pryde and Rachel, and hoping for Havok & Polaris, Banshee, and maybe Thunderbird and Sunfire. Jubilee & Cannonball would be cool too.
As for Spider-man, still waiting for that Kraven figure, and glad to see Electro coming out to complete the Sinister Six (with Doc Ock, Mysterio, Sandman & Vulture). And YES!!! At last, Mary Jane!!! (What, no Aunt May or J. Jonah Jameson???) I just wish they would quit double packaging all the villains with Spidey! I have more Spideys than I know what to do with now!
Sorry to be so long-winded in my first post, but just excited to find someplace to discuss this wonderful series of collectibles!

That's the movieverse one you're referring to, I believe.
In the movie Iron Man's gloves were heavy black insulated gloves.
Since the armor was made up of whatever was available, they were probably for metal forging.

Hasbro has new pics of Mega Packs of Ult Hulk and Ult Wolverine and Galactus with a new version of Mr Fantastic. The Wolverine is one of the best so far!
I just found this today. It is so funny to read the history of these things. I can't even imagine finding a Rouge or Storm in Wal-Mart. My son and I have had to pay a premium on ebay for a large part of our collection. We just started collecting in May with the Iron Man sets.
I am hoping to win a Dr Strange, Antman today on ebay.
I really want Blade and Punisher. Also the pics of Iron Monger at SDCC are awesome. Think I might have smashed the glass and did a grab and run for that one. (for my son, of coarse!)

Thanks for the heads up. Both Mega Packs look great.
Nice to see they actually went with the more classic colors on the Galactus repaint. The last one was purple and blue instead of pink and purple. And I love the metallic paints being used. And finally, a 616 Mr. Fantastic.
Also love the Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine set. Heh, it's still darn funny as hell that the comic is getting a pair of figures way before it's even completed due to all the delays. I wonder if Wolverine will rip in half?

Marvelous News has new Hi-Res pics of the 3rd Wave of the Iron Man 4-Packs.
Iron Monger Attacks (1st Appearance Iron Man, Iron Monger, War Machine, Iron Man)
The Danger Of Dreadknight (Dreadknight, Zhang Tong (Mandarin), Stealth Armor Iron Man, Iron Man)
http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=11649
Really love both sets. A huge improvement on the 2nd Wave, which featured a lot of prepaints. The Iron Monger set appears to be primarily movie based, judging by the designs. But the real star is the Dreadknight pack. I wonder how come they couldn't use the Mandarin name though. Maybe it's just for PC reasons? It's amusing when you think about it, that due to the nature of SHS, Mandarin can't have all 10 rings with his four fingered hands. ;)

Finally found Wave 2 of the Hulk SHS figures today at K-Mart.
Even better, they had a Buy 1 get 1 50% Off on Hulk toys going on. So I only paid $19.04 for all 4. Given there's a number of repaints in the wave, the price makes me much happier than if I had paid full price. No clue why they stuck so many repaints in Wave 2, and so many new figures in Wave 3.
Hulk and Absorbing Man is a pretty good set. However it does suffer from a few problems. Hulk only features waist and head articulation, but due to his pose the waist articulation is pretty much useless. That happens a bit too often in this line, but what can you do. Absorbing man is really nice, other than featuring only one point of articulation. His hand holding the ball and chain, which somewhat limits his poseability. I do like the choice of the grey and purple striped prison pants though. Even though I'm unsure if they appeared in the comics.
King Hulk and Black Bolt while being a great set, has some serious faults. The King Hulk figure is a slight repaint of the figure that came in Hulk Wave 1, which came packed in with the Hulkbuster Iron Man. King Hulk's fleshtone is a slightly darker green and his armor is now dull silver instead of shiny. The figure most folks will be buying the set for is Black Bolt, but he's not exactly spectacular. He features no articulation what so ever, however the sculpt and paintjob is fantastic otherwise. Hopefully we'll see a better Black Bolt somewhere down the line.
The Wolverine and Gray Hulk set is another of the occassional 'Repaint Sets' that Hasbro uses to help cost out figure waves. Wolverine's a repaint of the Wave 1 Wolverine that came with Sabretooth. This time the blue parts of his costume have been given a blue metallic paintjob. The Gray Hulk is also a repaint, this time of the Hulk from the Wave 1 set that came with a Hulkbuster. It's not a "necessary" set, but it is a nice one.
The Thing and She-Hulk set is also really nice. Thing is a bit short, but it works okay with the hunched pose that he's in. Love the sculpt that they used for him, will look good when we get some different Mr. Fantastics and Invisible Womans to make different team eras. She-Hulk however, while she's a nice figure I don't really like the attached beam. It makes it so that her arm articulation is effectively useless. Since it's unlikely that you're going to pose her any other way but with her arms over her head to support the beam.

Looks like the Hulk Wave 3 is officially up at hasbro. Too bad there are so many repaints. The same thing with the wave for Mystique and Weapon X Wolverine. The last thing I need (I mean "my son needs") is more spider-men.
Something tells me that Mystique is going to be one that you need to grab right away when you can get it. Another Rouge or Ice-man.
I hope the next Iron Man wave hits stores before Christmas.
Anyone hear anything on 'City in Crisis' and 'Winter Soldier Saga'? I thought they were supposed to start shipping on Aug 20.
The store near my house all got a huge shipment of the last 3 waves. Tons of Deadpool/Punisher, Doc Ock/Black Suited Spider-man, Cap America/Cable, Ghost Rider/Flame Cycle, etc. Wonder if Hasbro is trying to unload all of those in prep for all of the new ones???

Yeah, mentioned it being up a few posts ago. I've come to accept that we're going to see a couple repaints/repacks in waves. Since it allows them to cost out the waves better so that they don't have to start raising the price. Frankly they need to start repainting and repacking some of the harder to find figures though.
My guess is that Iron Man Wave 3 will start hitting sometime around the end of September in time for the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the movie. Especially since one of the 4-packs is movie based.
Haven't heard anything about the release of the next two 4-Packs of yet. Shouldn't be too much longer I would assume. But none have turned up on Ebay as of late. Hopefully they go back up for sale soon.

Good point. We get a ton of Spider-man and Wolverine, but it would be nice to see another Storm, Rouge, Iceman, She-Hulk or Vulture. Toss a Kraven repaint in with one of the Spider-man poses and repaint him in the Black Suit.
Looking forward to the Shocker that was diaplayed in SD. Now we just need a Chameleon to round out the Incidious Six.

Well, Storm and Black Panther are being repainted with white accents in the upcoming New Fantastic Four 4-Pack. So that at least gets those out there for those who missed them. Beast was repacked with flocked fur in the Apocalypse Mega Pack. And Iceman is being repainted in a somewhat 1st appearance look with yellow boots and speedo in the upcoming TRU Collector's Pack. I'm sure we'll see some more eventually.
As for Kraven, he was never released. There are a few that were snatched off the production lines as always happens. But I'm betting we'll see him released at some point. Maybe in '09, if we're lucky.

So what's the word on the series 5 spider-man sets? Is Vulture really that hard to find, or has that set just not been distributed enough yet? Also, has anyone substantiated the rumors about Collector's pack 2? I find it hard to believe that they are out there when they haven't popped up on ebay yet.

Wave 5 of the Spider-Man SHS figures only showed up at Wal-Mart stores. Which makes the Vulture and Sandman sets pretty HTF in most respects. Probably two of the rarest sets. Oddly enough, these sets were only included in endcap display trays for Wal-Mart, which is why they got distributed at all. However the Kraven set that was also planned for Wave 5 wasn't included in these displays, so therefor never came out at all.
And yes, I've seen loose pictures of Collector's Pack 2 on the SHS forum. They're out there.

The new Iron Man 4-Packs come with new Super Hero Squad posters. There's three different posters to collect, though oddly the person who found them said all three were in each box. An Avengers vs. Skrulls one, a Spider-Man themed one, and a Hand Ninjas vs. Various Heroes one. The back shows all the 2008 releases.
The Spider-Man Saves The Day and Winter Soldiers packs are shown, as well as the next 4-Packs after that. Super Teams: New Fantastic Four with repaints of Storm, Black Panther, Human Torch, and Thing. And Super Teams: The Defenders with Nighthawk (New), Silver Surfer (Chrome), Hulk (Repaint), and Gargoyle (New). Hopefully those 4 4-Packs will show up soon. Hopefully the New Fantastic Four set will fill the need people have for Storm.

What's the SHS forum? I haven't been there yet.
I'm really surprised Collector's Pack 2 is really out there. Usually the scalpers have that stuff listed on ebay the same day.
Well, I guess I'll add the Vulture and Sandman sets to my buy 'em when I see 'em list. I'm a completist, so I may have to pay scalper prices on these.

Thanks to Ash Talon for bringing this to my attention on another forum.
But it appears that there will indeed be a seperate Wolverine line for Super Hero Squad next year.
From the info: "183620 Wolverine Heroes 4 Pa $10.99", it's clear they're going with 4-Packs like Iron Man. Which I'm glad about, after all the multiple Hulks in the Hulk 2-Packs.
Hopefully this means we'll see comic based packs like Iron Man as well. The 4-Packs would be a great place to fill some holes in regard to Wolverine and X-Men based figures.
Blob, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, a good Sabretooth, X-23, Jubilee, etc.

Well, Hasbro apperantly does love Alpha Flight. So hopefully we'll see some of them eventually.

Super Hero Squad Collector's Pack #2 is apperantly out now. It's exclusive to Toys R Us and is just starting to show up in stores now. There's been reports of a few finds so far. It's certain we'll see more as time goes on. The only problem is that due to it being a Toys R Us exclusive, it's $29.99 just like Collector's Pack #1 was.
I picked up my Pack #2 yesterday at TRU! The packaging has an X-mansion theme, and includes the long-awaited Prof. X, Kitty Pryde w/ Lockheed the dragon, old-school Iceman, black-suited Juggernaut, Cyclops (same uniform as in the Mega Pack w/ Sentinel), brown-suited Wolverine, and then Spiderman hanging from the ceiling and Silver Surfer, which I don't know why they would include in an X-men themed package?!?
So they ARE out there now... I have already seen one Pack #2 on eBay, but it's gonna be expensive!

There was a couple Q&A questions about SHS on Kastor's Corner.
Kastor: Who are the artists/sculptors on the SHS line? Is it a team or an individual?
Hasbro: There's a pretty big Super Hero Squad team that includes lots of designers, sculptors, engineers, painters and the list goes on and on. For that reason we usually don't call out specific individuals. If we did it wouldn't be a short list, it would be more like film credits.
Kastor: You mentioned in the last Q&A that you had no new Squad Megas slated for the immediate future. Does that mean that Ultimate Hulk, Deco Galactus, and the rumored Wendigo and Mega Sandman were canceled?
Hasbro: A couple of the figures that you mentioned have been fully developed (Ultimate Hulk) and will still get used in the Squad line but not in the 2 pack format.

Marvel.Com has some previews of strips from the upcoming SHS comic.
A new strip will be posted every weekday. They're cutesy but kinda cool.

Hopefully the long delay since the last wave may finally be over. Wave 9 w/ Captain America & Red Skull, Sentry & Spider-Man, Punisher & Blade, and Spider-Man and Electro is showing up overseas. As well as the long delayed 4-Packs of Spider-Man Saves The Day and Winter Solider Saga. About time. Also, Wave 10 is showing 'Coming Soon' on HTS.

I managed to snag this one the other day so Santa wouldn't have a hard time finding it as Christmas gets closer ;). While I do like some of the figures in the pack, I am a bit underwhelmed at the price.
8 figures for $30 seems a bit high to me.
I would have passed on it if I hadn't had 2 coupons for TRU ($10 off and a $10 gift card).

Well the two packs sell for what 6-7 bucks now? So that would be 8 figs for $24-28, yeah so you're paying extra for only two new figs and a bunch of repaints. Unfortunately I think I still have to buy it cause I missed Iceman the first time....

I'm hoping they make Firestar soon so we can have the trio of Spiderman and his Amazing friends !! (spiderman, iceman, firestar) Maybe one day we will get lucky !!

Firestar would be nice. Not sure who they'd pack her with.
Well, of course it would likely be Spidey. Since Hasbro loves the Webhead.
We need a AXM Emma Frost now as well. To complete the team.

Stumbled across one of the collector packs at TRU on Sunday. It was the last one and while I wasn't crazy about the Juggernaut (his arm was a little wonky) I had to get it. I missed Iceman the first go around but I have to say that I think the vac-metal Surfer may be my favorite.

A few upcoming figures showed up for sale on Ebay from Hong Kong.
Really like the Cyclops and Marvel Girl set. Annoying that the four new sets in Wave 11 are only One Per Case. Gonna order a case to ensure I don't miss them.
As for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and Skrull. No clue if that's a running change or what. We saw that Nick Fury was initially packed with the Skrull. So no clue what's going on there.
