I know of Thrawn and Artdoesart from the forums, are there any others? I'm just wondering how many people it takes to keep this site running smoothly.

Keep up the excellent work :)

I am a reporter and editor of Lego and Micro Machines (yes, the forgotten children of SW toys ;)), and here's the current SSG staff page: http://www.sirstevesguide.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1838 which also links to our great staff of forum moderators!

Thanks for the directions :)

It's not right, what they did to the Micro Machines collectors

You can read all the gory details in the MM section... Hasbro said they were coming, maybe they are, but...

Jeditricks, who's Captain ISE? It says he's an administrator, but unlike SirSteve, he dosen't appear to do anything.

How does this organization work? Do you guys get paid, or you just have to make time after working the 9-5? I assume that the sponsor money pays entirely for the server space and web design.

Captain ISE is an SSG programmer, so he needs Administrative access to these forums. He rarely posts though, mainly because we keep him so dang busy. ;)

I don't make a dime, this site is my hobby. Sometimes it requires a little extra effort, but it's usually plenty of fun.

You're not getting paid, JT? I get a check every month. Hmm...

(Of course, I know Sir Steve's REAL name, and where he was during the Iran-Contra affair!)

:p

:p Once again Bel-Cam, you're getting Steve confused with George Bush. :D

when these large men in ill fitting sailor suits jumped out and grabbed me. they demanded to know what the capitol of bolivia was, i told em i didn't know....wham! next thing i know, i'm dressed as a short order cook chained to a a pc in the basement of sir steves well appointed sea side condo in florida moderating the soon to be dead micro machines section........................of course this story is absolutely ludicrous in that everyone knows that the capitol of bolivia is la paz .................................................. .................................ya know? no matter how many times i tell that story, i never seem to tire of it:crazed:

Let's just say that I'm now $10,000 poorer and I better have all daughters for my children, since my 1st-born son is spoken for! My knee is healing quite nicely, and I should be able to eat solid foods within the month! :D

Seriously, I think the way you become a staff member is to reply to any position openings (i.e. a section moderator or news editor) that Sir Steve himself puts out (not that commonly), or show a positive attitude and good input with responsible behavior here on SSG. That'll get you noticed and possibly earn a spot by a staff member asking you if you're interested.

Plus, you have to prove to be a "good earner" and pay upward to SirSteve while wetting JediTricks' beak and giving Captain ISE a taste. That way, you end up with functioning kneecaps . . . funny how Bel-Cam must have forgotten a rule or two :D

:)
