Cool! So how does the ranking work?

I'm a moisture farmer - neat! How many levels are there? What are they?

SirSteve and I thought about that for a while, and we have several more levels than the last system (I think a total of 5, but I'm not sure exactly), but I think Steve wants you folks to discover them for yourselves. Plus, there's gonna be a perk or two after certain ranks are achieved.

So I've slogged my way to finally becoming Jedi Master in the Old Forum and now I have to start all over again and instead of Padawan, I'm now moisture farmer.

But that's kinda cool cos the next stage, I may be - Tusken Raider? then, Ponda Baba. 3rd stage Gamorrean Guard, 4th Weequay and finally, the great Jabba the banana!! :eek:

Can't wait to find out :)

Moisture Farmer
Jedi Council Member
Supreme Chancellor
Midichlorian
Spirit of Jedi

QLD, you'd have to be "Baron Administrator," "Ladies Man," "Colt 45 Promoter," or "Rebel General." Lando's a name, not a title (or a system :) ). But maybe that's a "hidden gem" in the rankings; that you'd get to pick your own level! (Drool...)

Hmm, I may have built up hopes a little too high. The ranks will follow the Jedi code once you've moved up from Moisture Farmer. As for multiple paths, those are not possible... yet. :cool:

Post padding does indeed make us very unhappy, so play nice and a few rewards may come your way (I am not sure what the 2nd reward is, I only know the first is a custom-uploaded avatar of your choosing).

For starters, padding posts will do you no good. We'll just delete them and each time your post is deleted, it takes away 1 post count. Too many deleted posts within a certain amount of time will automatically suspend your account. So beware...

As for the ranks... that's a secret. We are working on making a 2nd tier rank so you can take the dark side. I can tell you that "Super Moderator" is not a rank you can get by making posts. Also, over the next month or so, we will be on the lookout for those responsible enough to handle the moderator position for each category.

Wow! this is really cool. Levelling off all the rankings and post counts put the cat out of it's misery! :P Still lots to get my head round but the new features are neat. Love the size and color features.
So is the old forum system still active and readable for reference? Has some already asked that? Haven't found it if they have.
Only drawback for me is that this new system takes a little longer to download. But I don't mind that. Thanks guys :)

Jargo, the old forums are up for reference in their old location. They cannot be posted to, but they can be read.

Bel-Cam, if you want to have individual sig-lines for each post, just put them in by hand instead of using the signature system. The sig-line system updates all your posts the same way the avatar system updates all your avatars. This is so the actual post doesn't have to carry as much of the data, it can simply source this data from your current files instead of having to hang onto that stuff.

As for the Padawan level, the post count on that may change.

I was told the archives are permanent.
