If you were forced to give up your entire SW collection of figures, but were allowed to keep ONE loose 3 3/4" figure, which one would it be?
I guess I'd go with the Ewok throne C-3PO. He was my favorite character as a kid, and it's the best sculpt of him. Few other SW characters are as iconic as him, unless maybe Vader.

Damn. This is a good thread idea.
What do you base the merits on? The articulation, sculpt, paint, nostalgia?
I'm just gonna have to go with: Yes.
Bobby Fett

I would keep the vintage Biker Scout.
I based mine on nostalgia and Hoth Han '80 won out. Bobby, that's a damn good idea regarding the Biker Scout...he'd be high on my list, too, as would the Royal Guard from '83.
But since I had to choose ONE, I'm going with Han.

I'd have to say my commtech stormtrooper. Its one of the best articulated, sculpted troopers to date.

Mine would be the SA Stormtrooper just because of the different poses you could put him in.
I hope it never comes to that though.

It's a tossup between the vintage Emperor's Royal Guard and the VOTC Chewbacca … I'll take the Royal Guard.

That's not true, that's impossible!!!!
I kick the person who's making me do this really hard and go with the Tin Vader figure with removable helmet (so think it's the Episode IV vader?)

If the game was keep only one from the post 1995 line I would probably keep the 1995/1996 Boba Fett.
I would be real tempted to keep either Hem Dazon or Figrin D'an though.
R2 and 3P0 are also in the running, but who could have just one?
Yoda is a good candidate.
It's too hard. I'd probably just keep the aforementioned Boba Fett.
Really good thread.

I'd keep my Vintage Luke Skywalker. I lucked out and found him at a yard sale loose, but in perfect condition. It's always been a favorite of mine.

I'd keep my POTF2 Luke Skywalker as X-Wing Pilot. It is the very first Star Wars action figure I had ever bought and it has great sentimental value since my Granny helped me pick it out.

That's a hard question to answer. I'd easy give up all my modern figures over my vintage. I guess I'll go with Yoda. He was my first figure and still one of my favorites. A very close second would be my Royal Guard.

i guess it would be votc boba fett. i also have the vintage one but it's not the one i had as a child and so it's no big deal if i weren't able to keep it.
of course, i'd try to buy back the figures that i really liked to build back up the collection again ;)

Ouch! This is a hard one.
Maybe I'll pick my vintage greedo. I'd have a hard time losing any of the other vintage figures, because I've been carting them around for decades, but that one's always been a favorite.

Probably vintage R2, he was one of my first figures and was always played with the most. It was always fun to turn him up and use him as a cannon to take out the stormtroopers.:D

It would probably be the VOTC Stormtrooper, though any modern version of R2-D2 would be a close second. No one should really be without R2.

300th Fett, no questions about it. It's not that I love Fett so much as it is that that is an awesome freakin' figure.

Rocket Launching R5 - the simple memory of this piece of carp would be the only thing that could keep me from crying over losing the rest of my figures.
