Okay... so my friend Kathy lived in Columbus when she was going to OSU, right? She went to a supermarket to get Adam "Batman" West's autograph for her brother's birthday. So, she stands in line for, like, an hour and asks him to make it out to "Terry"-- specifically, "Happy birthday to Terry". Since he was a couple sheets to the wind, he just signed it "Adam West" and she didn't realise it until she got it home. Well, this needed to be fixed, so she went to another supermarket where he was to appear later in the day. Again, she waited in line for an hour for this guy's autograph. She got up to him and explained the situation and he laughed and apologised. She gets back to her apartment to discover the tipsy actor screwed it up again and it now read "Happy to Harry - Adam West!"
Granted, Kathy should've looked at it before leaving the table the second time, but it makes for a hysterical story!!

I didn't diss it I just said I want to see that pic. lol
Let me diss the name then because the guy is a walking joke who's full of himself. I've seen this clown on the autograph circuit charging $40 for a signed 8x10. Absolutely hilarious, he was even charging more than Val Kilmer. lol lol lol

Awesome, I hope Harry loves his gift and thanks his sister tremendously for her effort.

Didn't he throw some kinda fit when he found out they were making new Batman movies and that he wasn't going to be cast as Batman?? I think I remember hearing in the news how that he was really upset and that he wouldn't support the movies and that he thought he should've been batman even though he was, like, 20 years older than when he played Batman.

I wish I could get a scan of that pic for you but I'm not even sure if Terry has it anymore. Kathy lives in Connecticut and isn't really about scanners and such and her brother lives in Upstate New York. Sorry I can't fill that request for you.

And worth every penny! I understand JediTricks has a collection of signed boudouir photos of Adam West hanging in his office, and he has more than $10 million invested in these. If I had that kind of money, you bet your sweet Bat-tussi that I'd have a comparable collection.
And what's Val Kilmer ever done? The Doors? Heat? Please! Those don't compare to the cinematic glory of the original Batman: The Movie.

Well, Batman was old in The Dark Knight Returns, which is what inspired the new movies, so Mr West was entirely justified. Getting a young guy to play an old Batman? It's just wrong!

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Don't forget that trainwreck called Tombstone.
The Adam-West-Being-Salty-Thing for not being considered for the newer movies reminds me of one of my all time favorite Dennis Miller Live jokes...this was back around what, 1997 or so (?) and Dennis reported the West story and then paused to say:
"Holy Fat F***ing Chance, Batman"
