I was looking at some items in my collection, that just made me wonder "Why am I keeping that?", which made me think that some others out there might have that same question on their mind.
Here are pictures of my two that stand out. The first is a Jar Jar hand puppet. The reason I keep it, is it was a gift from my mom who got it on a deep clearance. The second is this 3PO mask, that I ordered online when it was on clearnce, but it won't even fit over my huge head. I keep it because I am addicted to my collection. If I had two, I might part with one of them, but seeing as I only have one, well I must keep it.
I  Star Wars!
(Did I just say that, I mean I'm 41 years old, nearly at retirement age)

Oh I love this idea!!
First is my vintage electronic toothbrush. Picked it up at an antique show for 12 bucks because it was.....sweet...... It is also used:cross-eye
Second is my vintage Ewok telephone. I had to fix it so it would play the recordings when you spin the dial. If I remember right it says "My name is Wicket, nub nub!" I would try it but Im short on C batteries....eBay $15
Lastly is my vintage Intergalactic passport. It has pages to put included visas for traveling to the few planets in ANH. eBay $6
I love the strange stuff, Im looking for the 3PO tape dispenser if anyone can help me out:thumbsup:
I bet I have some more crazy things, Ill have to look.

Great thread idea! But I got everyone beat.
I have the Taco Bell taco wrapers from the Special Edition era. They are clean, unused and pressed. I also have a to-go bag and a few cups that have never been used. :pleased:
I have a cheap, plastic A-Wing -looking toy. Its not a licenced Star Wars toy but its obviously an A-Wing. Total ripoff.

Somewhere I have a coupon from the movie Thumb Wars with Princess Bunhead on it, good for one free Cinnabun.
I also not only have one, but TWO copies of the movie Star Wait.

I'd say a Sio Bibble action figure, but I pawned that off on Chux last year. :p
Now I'd have to say my 19 ticket stubs for TPM. Most of the ink has worn off them buy now making me the only person in the world to know that they're more than little slips of paper.

Mine would likely have to be the scratch=and-sniff "Mos Eisley" Golden Book
You get to smell Chewbacca, Jabba, Greedo, Lightsabers and the Falcons exhaust, plus a few more that weren't as good- it's a silly thing but I dig it :beard:Isobars&

rediculous item???It's stillakid. Just let it go...:p
I've got sooo many ridiculous items that I can't even think of them all. I've got that stupid A-Wing calculator, I've got about 6 Episode I bookbags that still have the tags, I stole permanently borrowed a Star Wars sign from Meijers, and I've got about 150 different magazines that mentioned Episode I in them. I've got more but I'll have to think on it.

Hmm not sure if this counts as ridiculous but I have a full uncut press sheet of the AOTC cards that were handed out at IMAX theaters. I got this because I was one of the organizers of the event for the premiere there. Only three of these were given away in Pittburgh, so it's a relatively unique piece.
Other than that, I'd have to say the plush electronic Jar Jar. You squeeze his hands and he says several phrases. The best one is if you make the Jar Jar plush make a certain hand gesture when he says "Mesa Comin', Mesa Comin'," cracks me up every time....yeah, I know, I should grow up, huh...heh heh.

I've got a vintage big brass belt buckle with Vader on it. Also I have a Starbucks ad that my sister cut out of a magazine and got mounted on a foamboard that has characters merged with coffee shop items. Both items were given to me by my sister. We like to give each other things to make us laugh.

Hey, I enjoy having them! I also got a t-shirt from the Taco Bell manager, as well as the Banner. I ate there so much, I should have just got a job there! (during the promotion time only)

rediculous item???
Have you seen the Prequels?
The most ridiculous item in my SW collection is my SSG account.
What Frett said about that JarJar puppet, I have it too and I even posted a pic here awhile ago. I'm sure Slick saved it somewhere...
What Frett and Jay said about the T-Bell items, I too have many of those boxes and wrappers from 1997 as well as 1999 and then again for 2005 with BK and everything else they did...those are some of my favorite items, all of the promotional stuff like restaurant items and cereal boxes, etc. It's very nostalgic and takes me back in time to sort through all that stuff. How many boxes of AOTC cereal did I eat, anyway? lol
What Slick said about stealing junk, I'm guilty as well. Pizza Hut was missing their little laminated menu flashcards that showed the different toys as well as the different cuptoppers they had - those disappeared from the table into my collection. lol
Have you seen the Prequels?
If they're that bad, you must not have seen them before taking ownership of those DVDs in your collection. lol

That reminds me of the time when the local KFC had a Jar Jar stand up with the toys displayed in a plastic case. Everyday I would go in there and think about walking out the door with it while the employees busied themselves with the cooking tasks. I ended up asking the asst. mgr. there if I could buy it, but he said it had to be returned at the end of the promotion.

WM came out with shampoo and conditioners and such that had SW characters as the tops. I have the entire set of 8 . . . .full even! I will have to get a pic of them when we get our new digital camera . . .I just broke ours tonight.
Also my Mom gave me a bar of soap with a small Yoda figure in the middle of it. I know I have some other wierd stuff somewhere.

What's ridiculous? That it's lifesize? That it's cardboard? That it's Jar Jar? Or that it's from Pizza Hut?

What did you do wrong to deserve such poor gifts, then ? lol

There are 2 of my friends from USA who aske me to find one of these cell phone holders and no luck yet. The wookiee holder came in a set for Orange Co. with a Vader cell phone charger and a nice SW box where everything was included.
