A friend's birthday is in late October. We celebrated this past weekend. For the last five years or so, we've carved pumpkins at the party.

It's a blast. I did a Yoda pumpkin last year, and a mummy this year.

The key to a good carving, we've found, is woodworking tools from Home Depot or Lowe's. The tools do a better job of cutting than the plastic tools in the kits.
