Ah, that's too bad. I remember him most from Happy Days, having never watched Karate Kid all the way through.

This is truly sad news. Mr Miyagi was one of the greatest characters in film history, and Morita was almost entirely responsible for this. I doubt there's anyone who wouldn't agree that we've lost one of the giants.

Wow, I thought he would have been much older than 73. I loved him in the Karate Kid movies and on Happy Days and on the few episodes of Match Game that he did make an appearance on.
A few of my fave quotes, the first one being related to Chux's awesome sig line:
"JC Penney 3.98"
"Welcome"
"Learn from book?"
"Squish. Just like grape."
and like I said in my last post, "don't know. never been attacked by tree." :D

Caesar I say the next time we go down to Milwaukee for a movie marathon you bring your copies of The Karate Kid.

That's so weird. He was just on Monday Night Football with Green Bay vs. Vikings this week talking with Brett Favre on the field. I guess what it's your time...

Now I'll never get my copy of Collision Course (http://imdb.com/title/tt0097081/) (co-starring Jay Leno) signed!
