It's because a kid from the next county over was killed by the list of members last week, and the highway patrol is investigating. Really. I heard it from a guy who dates a girl whose brother eats at the same diner as the sheriff's uncle.

That system is a major resource hog, turning it off lets us allocate those resources to other, more important forums systems.

I have to agree.. Maybe if there was a chat feature or something along those lines it would be more important.
