Theres at least 3 figures people have been wondering why were absent from the themed waves - X-wing Luke, Han endor and Biker scout.
I hope they don't put in ball jointed necks on the 'human' figures but they probably will, I seem to be in a minority who'd do without it.
Greedo and Tusken? Other than their being iconic figures in the original line I don't feel they needed to be included here and given SA but whatever.

Sounds cool to me. SA Scout baby! I can't wait to pay 10 bucks each for about 10 of them:rolleyes:. So I guess the ESB figures will be SA Snowtrooper and SA Hoth Han.

If done well, these would be really cool. I don't want any more Greedos, unless he comes with some kind of explosion/smoke accessory (and you know he won't). A new Tusken Raider with proper cloak would rule, as would a better X-wing Luke. A VOTC Biker Scout would rock my socks, and a new Endor Han is long overdue.
I bet the Lucas figure will just be the Jorg Sacul head on a clone/stormie body, with a helmet. Ah well. Stop making Lucas figures, unless it's Baron Popanoida!
I really hope that all these lists from RS are true.

The SA Biker Scout is a 'must have' at this point - seems like late 2005 - early 2006 will be the year for a lot of great new bad guy figs
I am pumped at the idea of a VOTC Tusken Raider - being a huge fan of them, Hasbro has been pretty generous with this character in the last few years - my mini display of them is starting to look pretty nice.
Any VOTC is a great thing, IMO - $10 a pop or not, I loved the line, and want them to continue for a long time - as long as the quality is there, of course.

Three figures mentioned if done right, Luke X-wing, Han (trenchcoat), & the Biker scout. The rest are not worth my hard earned money, looks like I'll be saving money on this one. I'd like to see more evolutions sets than these IMHO. And just who is this person who brings us the 411, how reliable is he or she?

i can't wait to buy all of them, including greedo and the tusken, for $10 each and then debate whether or not to open them! :p

And just who is this person who brings us the 411, how reliable is he or she?Yeah, I kind of like it when news begins with, "I just heard this from ______ over at ______ , and he/she says."
expect to be treated to the best sculpt and articulation your money can buy.For ten bucks (if they don't end up being more now) I expect them to walk around on their own.
Well, I suppose we'll see when we see.

$5 figures at $10 prices...
If they can sell SA Clones for $5, why not an SA Biker Scout? They just have to know these will sell...that's the problem, they know these will sell, so they'll charge them at a higher price. So long as they even sell half of what they made, they mad ethe money on them as if they sold at the regular retail price. Anything past that is "gravy" for them.
Damn, I'll get these, but I'll be complaining about the price the whole time...
And yes, we have a right to complain even though we are still getting them.

Once again, I'll say it. "This is good news, if it's true."
VOTC Greedo seems to be a huge waste. Somehow I doubt Hasbro's willing to churn out a $10 Greedo when every other Greedo figure since the POTF2 line began has pegwarmed with a vengeance.
Call me nuts, but I'd rather have VOTC-styled Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, General Grievous, and Jango Fett.

No Empire figures!? This throws my VOTC collection out of balance... Isn't Star Wars all about balance? I hope this means we get a Snow trooper in the near future.

Hmmmm....I agree about tossing Greedo. Not really into it. A new Hammerhead would have been fun though.lol Biker Scout...seems to be a littlebit of a gimme for the troop builders. Now....who would I want to finish out this collection of VOTC (Assuming 3 per movie):
ROTJ
Bib Fortuna
Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight)
Ewoks (not my most favorite but a big part of ROTJ)
ESB
Bespin Han Solo
Snowtrooper
Broken c3po
Ughnaughts

Since we are getting a Saga bib in late '05 early '06 it seems a waste to VOTC him. I would like to see:
ROTJ:
Luke Skywalker DS II Duel
Princess Leia Jabba's Slave
ESB:
Luke Skywalker Bespin Duel
Han Solo Besoin Torture
Chewbacca with Broken C-3PO
Of course it goes without saying that all these figures should be new designs and not re-hashes or hunks of crappy plastic. Also the articulation should be amazing

I am not going to be willing to pay $10 for these figures. I am tired of spending so much money on such a small figure; it's just not right. I am not going to be getting any more greedos or chewies. The ep3 and votc chewie are perfect chewies.

If hasbro was willing to do all their figures SA and more than 3 accessories Id pay $10 for um. Sure beats the hell outta buying 30 action feature figures to get one "ultimate" SA figure.

Why has everyone got a downer on Greedo? He's one of the coolest looking characters in the galaxy, and I for one, can't get enough of him.
A fully articulated Greedo, finally with elbows, and none of those obvious knee pins has long been at the top of my wants list.... and if they do him as well as I'm hoping, he'll be he only one from this batch I'll buy at least two of - even though I'll have to pay around $30 each.
Now I just need Sideshow to do a decent 12" version!

But if that gets taken into consideration there would be no more complaining..

I wouldn't mind if they did the entire line of the vintage figures in the new VOTC line. Wouldn't it be cool to have all the orginal kenner vintage and then all redo's (nice ones) of each character on the same cards...mmmmmmmmm, sounds better than food, cigarettes and coffee.

I will buy most of whatever they put out for the VOTC line. Heck $10 is still cheaper then the repainted crap they pass off as exclusives for $12-$15. This list just seems odd because there are only 2 ROTJ figures and 3 ANH figures. I don't see them breaking things up this way unless later in the year we have a wave with 1 ROTJ and 3 ESB figures in it.
