View Full Version : December '05 DVDs - end of the year Round Up.
With Christmas coming up in 2 months I'm looking further ahead than usual to plan my Holiday Season budget :nerv: so I figured what the heck, let's talk Dec DVDs ! I don't know if anything will be added to the month later on or if dates will move but here's what I've got on my list:
12/6
Cinderella Man
Star Wars Clone Wars part 2
12/13
Sin City Recut
The 40 Year Old Virgin

I'd like to rent The Island as well as Four Brothers.
I'd love to get Tour of Duty but I think it is out of my price range.

Btw, any of you all buying into the King Kong - Peter Jackson's Production Diaries thingy?

Off-hand, though I may not get them in December:
Clone Wars II (marathon a-coming!)
Simpsons 7
Batman TAS 4
Superman TAS 2
Disney Treasures (there were two that were old 'toons this time around, and a Mickey Mouse Club compilation I'll pass on)
Gargoyles Season 2
Sin City Recut
I might pick up 40 Year Old Virgin considering it is Steve Correll, and I've heard good things. And I might wait until Fantastic Four hits the $5.50 bin in three months, Marvel movie or not. Doom still looks like a feminine hygiene product in that to me.

Only a few for me this month.
Sin City
Serenity
The 40 Year Old Virgin
I will definitely rent Fantastic Four. I am going to hold off on The Simpsons. I still have several seasons that I haven't even touched so there is no point in me purchasing this set yet. I guess I could ask for it for Christmas. We'll see.

Yea... Going to rent those as well.
The American Pie: Band Camp; I know it is going to be horrible, but hey, I've seen the first 3, might as well see what this piece of garbage is like. Hopefully I'll get a laugh or two out of it. I'll let ya know!

What is AP: Band Camp? A direct to DVD sequel? If so, probably none of the stars in it either, huh?

It has Eugene Levy. Not sure if there is anyone else.

Yup, it was never in the theaters. I remember hearing about it though, according to IMDB Jim's dad, and the Shermanator was in it as well.

Band Camp starring Eugene Levy? Did I miss something? Shouldn't it star, oh, a character who went to band camp? :)
Of course, I have no interest in 2 or 3, so 4 isn't really interesting to me, either. I don't waste my time with obviously subpar sequels to movies that don't need sequels.

Actually AP2 was pretty good. Not as good a 1, but still pretty good.
3 sucked.

The star was Stifler's younger brother who went to Band Camp. Boy I seem to know alot about a movie I've never watched. :D

she was probably just passed out when they were calling her. two months later when she came to, it was too late to respond to the voicemail.

I went to 4 stores today to tr and get Fantastic Four on DVD today. Went to Wal-Mart. They had plenty but they has all these stickers stuck to the box saying "Buy Wal-Mart Gift Cards" and other crap! I tore up like 2 boxes trying to get the stickers off. Forget that. Went to Sam Goody, and Suncoast and both of them has stickers cemented to the slip case.
What the hell is up with that???? I hate it when stores do that!!!!
Went into Target, not only was it $14.99 but they were in clean, perfect shape with no junk stuck on the case. Thank God!
And I picked up Clone Wars today as well.
