I keep trying to post pictures but I always get an error message when I try to attach them. It always says this page cannot be displayed when I click upload. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is?

What size are the pictures you are trying to upload? I had/have to resize my photos before posting them. I think they have to be 500 by 500, and most of the pictures on my digital camera come in at 1600 X 900 or something along those lines. Try to see if the program you use to save pictures on your computer has a resizing option.

Size is one issue you might be expiriencing. ALso the format might be another. If you like PM me and I will send you my email addy and see if I can upload them.

File size, image dimensions, and image format are all likely culprits. What are the file sizes, dimensions, and formats are you trying to upload, and what error specifically are you getting?

It always brings up an error page that says "this page cannot be displayed". The file size is 627 kb, dimensions are 2576 x 1932, jpeg format.

I just tried to see the limitations and the limits for jpg. is 78.1kb and 500x500 for all pics.

Like Slicker said, the problem is that the files are too large for the file limits currently in place. Dunno why it isn't telling you that on the error message though.

Thanks for the help. I'll keep that in mind in the future when I try to post pictures. For the ones I was trying to post though, I will prolly just upload them somewhere when I have some free time and link to them.

Or you could send them to me and I can resize them or you could resize them yourself. My email address is slicker1138@yahoo.com
If you want to resize them yourself just open them in paint, then go to image, then click on stretch/skew and it lets you change the size by percentage.

There's a free program out there called Irfanview which works better than paint and is much more versatile, here's my original post about it: 353902

If you are going to upload them, use photobucket.com for that. It works real good.
