You have to have 101 posts to use a custom avatar. It will appear in your user CP under edit avatar when you hit the alotted posts. Welocme to the forums.

Although you are talking about custom avatars and its not the same you can use a 'stock' one untill you hit the magic number. Its better then nothing and was what I did.

I always thought that when the lightsaber reached full it basicly told you that you are going to change rank.

The lightsaber also "fills up" a little more with each new rank. In this thread for example, Slicker's saber blade is over half full, while Jim Jam's and Blackened's are only 1/6th full, and Spoon's saber is totally "off". It's the same for the Sith and Jedi ranks.
