I am having an isssue in posting every so often....

Over the weekend, I entered my username and password to log in, but when I would submit to respond to a given post or PM, I was brought back to a log in option.....when this happens, I cannot respond, and lose anything I type. This has now happened 3 or 4 times since the site upgrade.

It has happened to me a couple of times, but not when I was posting, it happened when going to my User CP. Try to copy what you wrote, so when and if it happens, you dont have to type everything out again.

You know, I remember that happening with me a while back as well. I'm not sure when it stopped (or why), but it doesn't do it anymore.

Have you deleted your cookies and temp files lately? If not, I would try that.

I had this problem too and I think it has something to do with automatic user logoff after a certain amount of time. If you spend too much time typing a post by the time you're ready to submit it you've already been logged out. I put a check in the "remember me" checkbox when I log in on my computer so I don't have to log in each time I visit or worry about being logged off while still browsing. If you're on a public computer you obviously don't want to use that function.

Thanks for the help and suggestions....My cookies have been cleaned, so that should be ok, but I hope it'll stop.

It was a corrupted cookie, no question, I see this all the time and when only 1 person is reporting it for a recent period, that's what it is (if it was a bunch of people, it'd be a forums issue, but we haven't had that happen in years).
