Alright, I'm a newbie when it comes to transferring images from my digital camera to my PC so I may be doing something wrong but I can't seem to get any of the pictures that I have on my PC from my camera to upload into a post.
I browse for the file like usual and once I find it and hit the "upload" button it says "the document contains no data." I'm not sure how this could be since I'm looking right at the image (jpg file) on my PC when I pull it up in my documents. Any suggestions?

I drag and drop on mine to get them into my computer.

The pics are already on my PC, I can attach them to emails no problem but when I try to do the same thing in a post here I get the "document contains no data" response.

Odd, since it is a valid format. Might be a corrupt file. Go to the test section and try toi upload a different pic, thats not from your camera and see if it works.

Worked fine as long as it isn't an image from my camera.

Very odd, the only thing I can say is JT might no something more than I on this one, is it all pics from your cam or just one?

Its all of them. :(
I think I'll try transferring them from my camera to my PC again. I would think if the file was corrupt I wouldn't be able to view the images on my PC and thats not the case as they appear fine.

It's likely your camera is putting in a rogue JPG marker or something of that nature which our system can't handle. What physical size and filesize are these images? Email me a sample, one that's already definitely not worked so I can see what's up in person.
Also, you could try editing the image in an editor to make it smaller or brighter and then saving as to get rid of that formatting, but the best way is sometimes to open an image in an editor, copy the image, and paste it into another editor window.

Another problem might be the image size. If they're too big they won't be uploaded and it might give a similar error. I don't remember the size photos must be for a post attachment off hand.

Thanks JT, that did the trick as far as getting it to upload. :D
The only problem now is the file size is larger than 78.1 KB. I'm not experienced in making files smaller so what would you recommend doing to reduce it?

Use a program similar to photoshop and reduce its size. Make it a tad smaller and try it out.

Thanks for the help guys. Got it figured out, just a matter of playing around with the photoshop program to get the image's size right. :)
