McQuarrie & ROTS Clone Trooper

I was looking at pictures of the heads of each figure and wow they look similar.

If this is a way to keep costs down then maybe figures will drop in price soon.

Personally I don't see the similarity. I mean they are similar, but only in the same way that the ROTS clonetrooper resembles an OT stormtrooper. My guess is that you're saying its using the same mold as to reduce the cost of making the ROTS clonetrooper. I'd say no, they aren't the same mold.


halofanatic - the point of the mcquarrie stormtrooper is that it was made from a concept drawing that mcquarrie had drawn way back in the day. The concept stormtrooper had a gun, shield, and white-bladed lightsaber. Very cool IMO.

I git the RM Stormie a little over a year ago. It's one of only two that I saw at retail. It's a great figure. I'm not sure if these two use the same mold, but it did occur to me when the pictures of the Ep III CT started leaking.
