Avatar question

Hey, guys, I just have a quick question.

Why is it that I can't add my own custom avatar? I don't see a space where I can type in the website of my avatar.

Any help here would be hot. :)

You don't get to add your own custom avatar until after you get 100 posts.:)

I think you need 25 or 50 posts before you can add your own custom Avatar.

Well, thanks for the help, guys. I'll just check my "Edit Avatar" window when I pass 25, 50, and 100 posts. It's probably one of them. :D

You have to have 101 posts for a custom avatar.

I have 101 (102 counting this one) post yet there's still no place for me to add my custom avtar. What gives?

Go to quick links, edit avatar, then right below the pictures of the ones that you can use there's a little bubble that says "custom avatar". click it then upload one from yer files.:)

Ric, your system profile is showing that you should be able to upload a custom avatar, it reads "Registered: Avatar > 100" instead of just "Registered" which it would if you couldn't upload. If you still don't see the field, reload the page, and if it's still not there, post here again.

Here's my pic from awhile ago that I want for my avatar.. Ok actually its not the one I wanted but (It wasnt jpg) I like this one too. How do I make it smaller? (I have a dilema: I open it up and I cant change the size, I bring it to another program change it and when I go to upload it again I cant becuase it doesnt fit the file name..)

Sounds like you need a better image editor, the one you're currently using sounds like it isn't saving in .JPG format.

I didn't have any troubles attaching it here after shrinking and saving it, but I may not be understanding exactly what the problem is. In any case, I uploaded the one I made as your avatar (one of my powers as Vice Chancellor) and it seems to have taken.

SLicker is right, 75x75 and under 8kb's. If you dont have a resize program like photoshop or such, post it here and someone will gladly help you out.

No, I had the same problem Ric Olie had, but I was able to upload one now. Matches my username, too.
