How do I change my name?

Well we're rapidly coming to the end of 2001 and I was wandering how to change my name to Jek Porky 2002?

As far as I'm aware Jek, you can't. If you want a different user name you would have to create a new account.
In your USER CP area you can edit your profile to a large degree and change your password, biography etc. But your user name is unchangeable.

Perhaps you should think about dropping the year to avoid this problem. Dates are always problematic when used with names. Something neutral works better. We all know you as Jek anyway. Whatever you have as your member name it usually gets shortened when other people type it. Like most folk call me EJ, Jargo or e-Jargo not EMPEROR JARGO. Or how about Gasgano Never Talked, who is now GNT because everyone shortened his name so often.

Just plain old Jek Porky sounds okay to me.

But what's wrong with using the 2001? isn't that the year you became a member here? Seems cool to keep that as a trophy of you joining SSG. And it would save Sirsteve having to delete a load of your old member details if you started a new account.

Have a think about it. It might make sense. :)

Well I decided to start again, new name, new year,NEW FILM.
