Looks like they are trying for the X-Prize today. If they are successful today they'll have 2 weeks to repeat the space flight to win the prize money. Best of luck to them. :)

Wow, they did it. They only needed 62.5 miles but they made it all the way to 100 miles. Very cool.

Duh. We already made contact with the Vulcans about fifty years ago. Remember when Darth Vader came from the planet Vulcan and forced Whatshisface McFly to listen to really loud Van Halen music until he agreed to ask out Marty's mom?
