We should have a SW-EU/Misc forum

THere are alot of EU discusions that go on that don't fit in any of the movie categories. Plus there are alot of SW related topics like GL's mental health and so on...:D that shouldn't be in General Discussion. The EU discussions don't always pertain to the books themselves but alot of left field philosophy discussion of certain things fit. I have a hard time finding some of these threads because you can't remember where they were.

I totally agree, sometimes I want to say something that has to be with the EU, but doesnt fit in any category, so I a EU-Misc can be added I would really apprecate it.

The more I think about this, the more a blanket EU forum makes sense. What if someone wants a good discussion of the Clone Wars, for instance? You've got divergent stories in various novels and comics, but at the same time you've got quite a bit of storyline in video games, TV, even in the Hasbro toys. The discussion certainly won't stick to any one source, even though it's the same story, and could possibly even alienate some people depending on which forum it's started in (some people wouldn't check it out if it's in Video Games, others if it's in Comics & Books, etc).

How about creating one strictly for EU? It covers both areas of comics/books and TV that way.

Man a dilemma.:D Well are the Ewok movies out of canon? Even though Lucas made them?

I would say that the television shows should be discussed in the Television section. But I say that most EU discussions emerge from the issues and philosophies surrounding the canon and not nessisarily the stories themselves. I would use this line of logic.

EU + EU = EU
Canon + Canon = Canon
EU + Canon = EU (this was a correction edit)
