What figure(s) did you not get as a kid for some reason? :dis:

For me it has Leia (hoth), R2 (sensor), C3po (removeable limbs), Han (endor), Leia (endor), & all POTF figures except Barada. Still don't have the carbonite block for POTF Han.

I also didn't get a sizeable list of ships, vehicles, & playsets.

I did not get the Blue Snaggletooth, Yak Face, or Vlix. All the other figures I got plus most of the vehicles and playsets.

I never had the standard Princess Leia for some reason. I also never had a Han Solo. Then, as most people, I missed out on just about all the POTF coin figures.

Ok this is a bit of a long list. I had 35 figures a kid, which I think is pretty impressive considering that I was born after '77. As vehicles, playsets, and other such toys, it would be easier to list what I had (which was much).

Luke Skywalker
R2-D2
Princess Leia Organa
Han Solo
C-3PO
Star Destroyer Commander
Hammerhead
Power Droid
R5-D4
Snaggletooth
Snaggletooth (blue, from Cantaina set)

Bespin Secuity Guard (white)
Rebel Soldier (Hoth battle gear)

Han Solo (Hoth outfit)
Stormtrooper (Hoth battle gear)
Bossk
Ugnaught

Leia Organa (Hoth outfit)
Zuckuss
Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot
Bespin Secuity Guard (black)
Cloud Car Pilot
AT-AT Commander
Luke Skywalker(Hoth Battle Gear)
Weequay
Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard)
Luke Skywalker (Jedi knight)
Squid Head
Nien Numb
Reble Commando
Biker Scout

Well that depends on when I stopped being a kid. I only owned a Gamorrean Guard and a broken Threepio up until 1985. After that I got about 7 or 8 figures, mostly Ewoks, but the only vehicle I owned was the Glider.

It wasn't until my high school days that my brother and I really started to amass a big collection (mostly because all of our friends were "too old" to be collecting Star War anymore and were giving the stuff away or selling it for ridiculously low prices).

I'm still waiting for the old lady with an attic full of MOMC vintage figures to have a yard sale and sell them all for $1 apiece. With sorry government wages you can't buy much in the field of toys especially vintage.

Does this old lady actually exist or is she just a hopeful fantasy? (geez, most guys dream of super-models, but SW fans dream of old ladies with musty attics :p ;) )

My brother and I actually were extremely lucky since we managed to get lots of big vehicles from friends who were cleaning out their garages and closets. We got ahold of and AT-AT, AT-ST, Millenium Falcon, B-Wing, TIE Fighter and Snowspeeder that way.

Well, I got all the non-variants (i.e. vinyl Jawa, silver IG-88, red collar Leia, smiling Lando, etc.) figures from the SW, ESB, and ROJ lines, plus about 4 from the POTF line. I had never collected the Droids or Ewoks lines. So, I think the list would be...

Blue Snaggs (IMO not a variant)
Luke Trooper
Luke Endor
Han Carbonite
Imp Gunner
Imp Dignitary
Paploo
Some other Ewok (Lumat? Warok?)
R2 saber
Amanaman
Barada
A-Wing Pilot

I think that was it. Maybe. I started in '89 to re-collect them, beginning with Blue Snaggletooth ($4 without a weapon at a swap meet [sorry, no old ladies with attics there] in awesome shape), and about '92 with the rest.

Well let's see. I saw someone mentioned Vlix. I had no idea he existed as a kid, and he was only released in Brazil so he really doesn't count. So with that said, as a kid I did not get:

Blue Snaggletooth - didn't know as a kid
Yakface - again didnt know he existed
Warok - as a kid i didnt realize he was a different ewok
Romba - never remember ever seeing him as a kid

I don't have:

Blue Snaggletooth - a friend of mine had one back then so I knew it existed
Yak Face - didn't know about it

Power of the Force - my only outlet for these was Kay Bee Toys, but with their exorbitant prices I couldn't afford to get:
Barada
EV-9D9
Imperial Dignitary
Imperial Gunner
Romba
Warok

Droids - loved this cartoon so I bought them all except for A-Wing Pilot & Boba Fett, since he was a repack. I don't have Vlix either - I had no idea Vlix had been made until relatively recently. Only remember seeing these figures at Kay Bee Toys.

Ewoks - Sacrificed buying these in order to get the Droids figures.

I'm with you on these two, as are I think a lot of folks. I had no clue they existed.

Warok - as a kid i didnt realize he was a different ewok
The really bad thing about having Warok as a kid was most people thought he was Lumat. When I had the card it was easy to prove that I right, but after I lost the card everyone thought I was crazy.

I had everything except the very last wave, and all of the ships except the sandcrawler shuttle, skiff, b-wing, and a few others from that end period.

My only losses were Hoth Han, and the Early Bird special Luke w/double telescoping lightsaber (he fell on a rock and his head broke off (I do still have him and his head) which is pretty painful looking at what he's worth now. Of course, SW toy availability being heavenly back then, it was easy for me to replace him, even though he was about 2 years old at the time.

The only toy I really wanted as a kid that my parents would not buy me because my mother thought it was ugly was the 12" Kenner Alien figure. I still want it, but have not broke down to spend the big $$ to get him yet.

My brother had that toy. It was awesome and ugly. It had the glow in the dark head and all. Man, I want one now.

You know as long as you have the double telescoping lightsaber (and it's intact) it shouldn't matter whether the figure intact or not. It's the lightsaber that bring the big bucks, if you're looking to make money off it.

Nice thinking, LusiferSam! I'll have to dig it out. I have a suspicion that the tip is missing, but you never know.
