I didnt know where to post this,so if it needs to be moved, feel free Mr. Mods.
With changes being done to the OT on DVD, does this mean we will get new toys and the others that we have will be for naught? What do we do with our Sebastian ghost and Anakin figures? Jabba from ANH? Will we get new versions? I can see an Anakin with Hayden, but what about the rest?

I think a lot of it might depend on how well the new scenes and changes are received by the general public. I think they pretty much know how the Star Wars fan base feels about it by reading this and other forums. But I do not think they will to be honest for a couple of years at least. What with Revenge of the Sith and all.

I expect they will make new versions of the replaced characters. Darth Vader w/removable helmet w/Hayden + ghost Anakin will be cool, and to be honest, i have not been thrilled with any of the Jabbas we've been given in the modern line, so a new one of him will be welcome as well, though I suspect it will be quite some time before we see him.
As for what to do with the original versions, I'm keeping mine with the rest of them, but I suppose a mini-display of deleted characters might be interesting. Lak Sivrak is no longer in the movies, so what do you do with him?

We'll probably get a new "original trilogy" Anakin Ghost and there are rumors of a holographic Emperor figure also.
I was looking at the vintage Anakin Skywalker figure yesterday and felt a little twinge of sadness that he has been erased completely from the films now.

The holographic Emperor is coming, as an exclusive from starwarsshop.com. It is just a clear blue 1997 Emperor Palpatine figure, when it should be a humongous head and shoulders. Maybe Gentle Giant could do a mini bust version of him and he would go well with the figures.
I don't doubt that we'll get a new spirit Anakin. They can just use the body from the flashback Anakin figure, and give him new arms and a head from a ROTS figure. Then cast it in a plastic similar to the new Obi-Wan.

Yeah, only I doubt they'd give us a holographic bust of him, and it would cost $50 instead of $10. :(

Lak Sivrak is no longer in the movies, so what do you do with him?Well, I'm taking all of the characters that GL has deleted from the trilogy and making my OWN toy line based around them! Lak Sivrak, Sy Snootles, and now Old Anakin are returning to toy stores with a vengeance, as the awesome superteam known as A-Force! Watch them in their battle against the evil forces of Ketwol, Hayden Christenson, and Computer Generated Imagery! As for vehicles, they can have Toy Biz's Spider-Mobile, because why the heck does Spider-Man need a car, anyway. Coming Winter 2004!

For a while though, in the comic books, Spider-man did have a car. I kid you not. It was a dune buggy-type thing as well. I think it ended up in the East River. I'm not sure where he parked it during the day though in order to maintain his secret identity.
