well im on this bands street team, and im just getting the word out about the band Taking Back Sunday. TBS is a rock/emo built around the lead singer. They have the best lyrics ive ever herd, original and packed with emotion. I know this is a Star Wars site, but we all listen to music, and i thought id bring it up with the new cd comming out soon, get some new listeners by chance.

if anyone is into rock/emo type stuff check these guys out.

I am not a fan of anything punk or emo, just not my thing. I have to say that this band is not one of the better ones in my opnion though, just not my thing at all. I would say try Thursday or Senses Fail before them. Just trying to help out.

just read a review of 'where you want to be' in kerrang! magazine which claims there is a rumour that the bass player walked out because the vocalist cheated on his girlfriend, who happened to be the bass players sister. it didn't say why the guitarist walked out.

there must be enough material there for several album's worth of emo!

the album got an average 3K review - not as good as their debut apparently, but they were included in kerrang!'s list of thirty new rock bands we should all be listening to.

hey guys thanks for looking. I already have the "where you want to be" cd....and i must say its not up to par with the old cd. but its good enough to buy.

as for the whole cheating thing...ive herd that too, but nothing has been confirmed. i hope this didnt hapepn, becuase then they would have to get a new singer or bassist, the 2 that started the band. and they just got rid of the back up vocals guy and got a new one, thats why in my opinion, the new cd is not as good.

but keep an eye out for TBS in the future.

and Thrice is a good band too.:D
