Custom made avatars.

I understand that you can make custom made avatars when you have 75 or more posts. I you can see I do not have nearly that , but when I do get it can I get a animated.gif as one? JT, Sirsteve?

You have to make it yourself or get someone to make it for you.

There are several "stock" animated avatars in the current avatar list, you can pick from any of those. I made several animated ones which anybody can use as their avatar from the minute they join the site. My C-3PO has blinking eyes, my Droideka transforms, and my Obi-Wan cuts the Darth Maul in half.
