Ok, can anyone playing this help me? What are the seven bonus items to be found during the training mission? Here is what I have:
1. c3po outside of the Homestead
2. Sandcrawler near Mos Eisley
3. Mos Eisley
4. Jabba's Palace
5. Toshi Station
6. Bantha Heard (x2)
7. ???????
Also, any suggestions on that crazy hanging symbol when using the podracer.

I have completed the Training, but was unable to find any of the bonus stuff. could you clarify where/how you found them? What am I doing wrong?

I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, but it sounds like you are missing R2-D2. From what I understand, R2 is in the Sandcrawler. Blow up the Sandcrawler with linked laser fire.
If its anything like the bonuses in Tatooine Training for Rogue Leader Trip, you'll have to simply fly/walk around till you happen to come across them.

Yes, Lord Malakite is right. You must link your lasers and blow up the sandcrawler to get R2.
TripJ: to find the bonus items you must choose to explore the area while in your T-16. Head away from the Lars Homestead and you'll find stuff pretty easily.
Also for those who haven't completely finished the training level, instead of heading straight for the blue Revel icon when you've beaten the Droids while in the AT-ST, go back to the Red icon. You'll be playing the same thing (shoot 10 droids) but will have less time to do it. After beating this go back again and play it another time. This time your "time" will be even less.
Once you've unlocked the landspeeder, go back and retry the jumps to complete a shortened time level.
For those who have played the rescue mission (can't remember the name of it), if you want to unlock something cool...(I'm not telling, you'll just have to play it to see what I mean) not only finish the level quickly but with a HIGH accuracy. I used the B-wing and made sure to use the missles. DON'T shoot randomly. Don't worry, your B-wing can take alot of damage so you can afford to get in close to the ties to take them out.
I tried some codes and somehow unlocked the arcade game. (Though, I don't know which one worked becuase my sound was down and I don't know if a correct code makes a different sound in this game, as well, I had entered in many possible codes before going back and checking things out.)
Come to think about it, since I finished the game maybe that's what unlocked the arcade game. No I don't have all Golds yet but am well on the way. I've unlocked all but the Echo base level. ( chose the Devastator level to unlock first before this one).
I'm having the darndest time blocking laser bolts in the Sarlaac Pit level, otherwise I'd have a better medal in that one.
Hint in the Jedi training level: When faced with taking out the "spiders", find their "home" and destroy it first, otherwise you'll waste valuable time killing them off. You don't need alot of kills to attain higher medals in that stage.
Hint: When your in the Orb-like level (again can't remember the name) using an A-wing, be sure and make use of your homing missles. It helps greatly and reduces the time to hunt down those pesky TIE Defenders.
Now...I need some help...at the end of that level you use a Y-wing to take out the superlaser. Your told that you can't take it out directly because it's shields are too strong and you must use ION cannons. My question is, ON WHAT? I can't figure out for the life of me what the hell to shoot. I aim for the side lasers that connect with the big one in the middle and blast away with the ION cannon but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone have a clue or have finished this level?

Thanks, Sal. That's what I was after. I wasn't sure what vehicle to use.
The Super Laser is powered by three smaller lasers. The dishes that you are to blow are at the top of the buildings the smaller lasers are attached to. Don't waste time shooting at the lasers themselves, just fly at a high altitude and you'll see 'em. They almost look like water. Use your ions to eliminate the shields, then bombs away!!!
That mission was a pain, it took me a while to figure that one out.

I finally figured it out myself as well. And to boot got a silver on it. SO far I have 2 golds 10 silvers and I think 7 bronze though I could be wrong in that last figure. The only stage I haven't "medal"ed in yet is the training stage. Believe it or not there are actually FOUR parts to this. What I mean is you complete the whole training like I did but depending on the time of day you play this matters on what "time" of day it is in the gaem. There are four different times of day that the trainging stage can be played!
I have unlocked Boba's Slave 1 for missions and found all of the regular stages powerups. I've unlocked and medaled in all bonus stages except the endurance one. I haven't unlocked it yet but am creepy up to the required points to unlock it.
Here's the REALLY cool part. I got an ACE medal! This was for the escape from Bespin stage where you first play as Leia then as the Falcon! WHOO HOO and to boot it was the FIRST time I played that stage!
I took a picture (non digital) so when I get that film developed and scanned I'll post it for proof.

Good job on that Ace Medal sal. Still have at least a little over a week before I get to to play (drools thinking about it). I have the Gold and Ace Medal requirements for every stage though. I also have locations for all the upgrades and a few codes to boot. I'll post them in a bit after I dig them up.
As for Tatooine Training, you can't medal in it. If you do complete it entirely though for all 4 time periods, you'll earn the Naboo Starfighter, like in Rogue Leader. :D
I also have the requirements to play as the TIE Bomber if anyone is interested. You earn it in a similar manner as the TIE Fighter from Rogue Leader, so no medals needed.
By the way sal, I believe those things you referred to as TIE Defenders are actually a new ship created just for Rebel Strike, the TIE Hunter. They have S-foils like an X-Wing.

This TIE Hunter you speak of, it sounds like those X-Wing, Tie Fighter hybrids featured in some EU novels. Though I'm not sure which novels they were in...X-Wing series maybe? It's been awhile since I read of their appearance, maybe some of the other EU guys might know.

Documentary: Complete the last mission "Triumph of the Rebellion", to unlock the documetary.
Credits: Complete the last mission "Triumph of the Rebellion", to be able to view the credits at any time.
Arcade - Star Wars: To unlock the Atari Star Wars arcade game, complete the first bonus mission "Death Star Rescue".
Arcade - The Empire Strikes Back: To unlock the Atari Empire game, complete all the standard missions.
Audio Commentary: Earn a Bronze Medal on all the standard missions. You can now hear commentary from the game developers when you access most missions.
Ace Mode: Earn all Golds in the single-player game and complete "Tatooine
Training" for all 4 times, and you can turn on Ace Mode, which ups the AI and destructive power of enemy ships, but doesn't give you any rewards for using it.
Upgrades (Single Player)
Advanced Shields - Revenge of the Empire
At the beginning, start blasting apart Transports. Fly straight and take out the nearest four (including the one further up that explodes real easy). Don't take out the fifth one, but fly either directly in front or behind it, and through it from one of its openings. The upgrade is inside.
Advanced Lasers - Defiance on Dantooine
As you and Tycho make your escape, you'll see the path branch every so often. The second time this happens, take the left path. The bonus is in front of you.
Advanced Proton Torpdoes - Relics of Geonosis
Once on the surface, you'll come upon an area with Battle Droids and stormies exchanging fire. The stormies will be holed up near an escape pod. Inside that pod is the upgrade.
Homing Proton Torpedoes - Extraction from Ralltiir
Just as you make your first right turn, you'll see a small alcove. The powerup's in plain sight there. It's actually quite possible just to stumble over it.
Advanced Concussion Missiles - Guns of Dubrillion
Just after cresting the ramp, you should see a path off to your left that goes nowhere. The powerup is there.
Homing Concussion Missiles - Speeder Bike Pursuit
After the third Biker Scout that tries to ram you (he says "Stop, you Rebel scum!"), you'll come upon a series of mid-size trees right down the middle of the path. Soon afterwards, you'll see a tiny path that curves off to the left behind some large trees. These are all landmarks to point out the major path split coming up very soon. Take the left path, and keep to the left part of the tree corridor. You should see the upgrade coming up. Get close and you'll snag it.
Advanced Proton Bombs - Raid at Bakura
You must reach Silver Medal requirements by destroying enough TIEs and guns on the station. Once you control the TIE Bomber, fly until the end of the canyon. The last incomplete dome will have the bonus inside. Bomb it open.
Spread Proton Bombs - Deception at Destrillion
When you reach the planet Dubrillion with its superlaser, enter the main spherical structure of the superlaser from the top. The upgrade is down at the bottom of the dish.
Advanced Cluster Missiles - Battlefield Hoth
As you man the E-Web to take out advancing soldiers and AT-STs, destroy the container furthest to your right before taking out the last walker (preferably the furthest one). Run over to where the container was to find the powerup.
Homing Cluster Missiles - Triumph of the Rebellion
Make it to the first group of Ewok catapults. After dealing with the AT-STs in the area, walk right up to the catapult on the right. Now, turn around and scan the forest behind you (in the large bowl-shaped area as seen on the map). Look carefully, and you should be able to see a clear path straight to the upgrade.
Advanced Targeting Computer - Defenders of Ralltiir
From the start, go off to your left to see another suspension bridge. On the opposite side is a Transport. Bust it open.
Upgrades (Co-op)
Advanced Shields - Death Star Attack
It is found in the 2nd. part of the mission where you have to destroy the TIES. It is approximately 15-20 degrees to the left of your starting point. Once you reach the location, fly low near the gun turret there and you'll eventually spot the cone.
Advanced Proton Torpedoes - Ison Corridor Ambush
Right as you start, fly down. Just below the Frigate is a clump of
debris. If you look closely, you can see a square hole in the debris. Fly through the hole to get the cone
Advanced Lasers - Battle of Hoth
Fly back to where the Shield Generator used to be before being destroyed and you'll find the cone.
Advanced Cluster Missiles - Prisons of the Maw
On your way between the weapons depot and the comms towers, you'll see off to your right a cluster of two structures: a dish, and a dome. Bomb the dome, and you'll find the cone inside.
Advanced Proton Bombs - Razor Rendezvous
Off to the port side of the Star Destroyer (far side from where you
start) is a Lambda Shuttle making a break for it. Destroy it to get the cone.
Homing Proton Torpedoes - Vengeance on Kothlis
The cone is inside the Star Destroyer. Specifically it's in the bridge tower. Fly slow as you come up on the front of the tower and enter a hole on the left portion. It's inside, but you may die
trying to get out.
Advanced Concussion Missiles - Imperial Academy Heist (Day)
There are large concrete hangars around the academy. Fly into the east hangar (if the Shuttle's considered to be in the north area) to collect the cone.
Spread Proton Bombs - Imperial Academy Heist (Night)
There are large concrete hangars around the academy. Fly into the west hangar (if the Shuttle's considered to be in the north area) to collect the cone.
Homing Concussion Missiles - Raid on Bespin
Above the second set of platforms is an tubular Imperial Gas Freighter. Gun it down, and the cone will appear on the nearest platform. You may need to gun down some gas containers to find it.
Homing Cluster Missiles - Battle of Endor
You can actually pick this up at any time during this 2nd. part of the battle, but it's easier to find after you destroy the Star Destroyer on the left. Once you bust it open, it'll pitch down towards the planet and hang in an odd position. Fly near the Star Destroyer's hangar, or around the area, and you'll find the cone. The cone is actually in that arbitrary point in space from the moment you enter the 2nd. part, but it's far easier to pick it up when you have the crumbling Star Destroyer as a reference point.
Advanced Targeting Computer - Strike at the Core
On the last tunnel before the main reactor (you'll know it because you'll see blue shimmering at the end), there will be a series of pipes bracketing the lower right corner of the tunnel. Fly under these pipes and under the last one, you'll find the cone.

Secret Ships
TIE Bomber - In "Raid at Bakura", accomplish the Silver Medal requirements for the mission (important points are 45 kills and no friendlies lost). When that's accomplished, you'll grab a TIE Bomber to go rescue Hobbie. Once in the canyon, you have to use your lock-on missiles to destroy all the small laser towers on the floor of the canyon (not bothering with those on the walls). However, you have to destroy them in the proper manner. You must destroy each cluster of towers at once with one volley of missiles. Furthermore, they have to be roughly destroyed all at once. The best way to do this is to lock-on to the furthest turret first, then so on up, then let your volley fly. If you do it properly, you should get some kind of verbal confirmation from Crix Madine or Wedge. If you get ALL the clusters, the announcer will say "May the Force be with you!" and the Bomber is unlocked. It will be placed in the back right of the hangar.
Naboo Starfighter - To unlock this ship, fully complete "Tatooine Training" at the four different time frames that show a different time of day when you play: dawn, day, dusk, and night. Once all four of those are complete, you'll earn
your N-1. It will replace one of the two X-Wings in the hangar.
TIE Advanced - To unlock Vader's TIE in Cooperative Mode, earn all Bronze Medals. To current knowledge, it's not available in Single Player.
Slave I - To unlock this ship in Single Player, earn at least Bronze Medals on all the basic missions (that don't require points to unlock). The ship will appear
right next to the Falcon in the hangar. To unlock this ship in Cooperative Mode, get Ace Medals on all missions.
Millenium Falcon - To unlock Han Solo's ride in Single Player, earn at least a Bronze Medal on all 19 missions. To unlock it in Cooperative Mode, earn at least a Bronze Medal on all co-op missions.
Jedi Starfighter - To unlock this speedy predecessor to the A-Wing, get at least a Silver Medal on all the missions, regular and bonus. The craft will not appear in the wireframes at the opening of a mission, but will be in the hangar, replacing one of the A-Wings. This applies to both Single Player and Cooperative Mode: you must get all Silvers in one of these modes to unlock it for that mode, and it will also be available in Versus.
TIE Hunter - To unlock this experimental TIE, get a Gold Medal in all the missions, regular and bonus. The craft will be in the back right enclosed hangar. In addition to being able to use it in any mission that allows all craft, you can also use it on Raid at Bakura. This applies to both Single Player and Cooperative Mode: you must get all Golds in one of these modes to unlock it for that mode, and it will also be available in Versus.

I have been back home for a little over a week now, so I finally got to play Rebel Strike. Finished up with Single Player just a few days ago. Recieved 19 golds and 19 aces, so I updated my signature. Now I have to wait for James Boba Fettfield to return to work some more on those Co-op missions. So far we have 3 bronzes and 3 silvers for that from Thanksgiving.

Oh boy, I can't wait to do that. Playing the game for 12 consecutive hours to aid in your quest to unlock everything.
Don't blame me if I am responsible for low accuracy in the game, my skills lie elsewhere....like in Vs. mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee.
