What part of your everyday life reminds you of Star Wars? I am still in Middle School so when I play dodgeball in Gym, that would have to be it. It reminds me of the end battle on endor, or the the battle for Naboo when the Gungans fight the Droids. What About You>

America invading Afghanistan reminds me of the Empire thoroughly trouncing the Alliance on Hoth. The highly technological superior forces going in and routing the rag tag forces hiding in [ice] caves.
I don't think the Taliban is the heroic Rebel forces though. They suck.

Driving on the freeway, going about 100, zipping around all the other cars reminds me of flying through an asteroid field for some reason. And when I go to a bar and someone comes up behind me, I get the urge to turn around and cut their arm off. :D

It's true! Several years ago I was in a bar (pub to us Brits) when some joker next to me exclaimed: " I don't like you, you'd better watch out." All I could do was laugh, which did not help the situation any. "Star Wars!" was all I could say. Sadly I was beat up shortly after.

well, in the star wars movies, there is always a war of some sort going on...that is how it realates to real life.

Whenever I need to get something out of the cupboard, using "The Power" makes it so much easier. In Star Wars, they call my gift "The Force" or something. What?
Seriously, I'd go with whiny farm boys. :D (Can't remain serious, can I?)

Working in law enforcement for almost seventeen years, I deal with 'scum an villiany' every day. I deal with cantina aliens all of the time!;)

I have a twin brother if that counts. I gues I can imagine him as a twin sister I guess.

My sister and I are 18 months apart, so while we're not twins, she was adopted at birth by another family and we never met until we were teens, though we're now siblings again. That kinda reminds me of ROTJ's big plot-twist, only I never made out with MY sister (thank the maker  ).

I find myself at night looking up to the stars wondering whats going on out there and wanting to be out there like Luke.

When people annoy me, I find my thumb and forefinger twitching together in a force strangle position like Vader does it. If only....... Also, not being able to drive and being the passenger in any car, I quite often half close my eyes and imagine the car is a landspeeder zipping through the canyons of the Dune sea area.

Everything reminds me of Star Wars. You could just say"stop that" and it brings me to Leia speaking to Han in the ESB. Just about everything someone says reminds me of Star Wars.

On similar lines of TeeEye, going to New Orleans is no different than Mos Eisley as you will "never find a more wretched hive of scum and villiany."
The drive on I-10 south is no easier than the Death Star run either.

The time. It seems like the only time I even look at the clock it's 11:38. AM or PM. Odd, isn't it?

When I think of the situation that the United States is in with Afghanistan I imagine how much easier it would be if several Jedi went in and rooted out the enemy and took care of business.
Anytime I pick up a pen I imagine its Lukes or Vaders lightsaber,I need a life...

Sith Worm, I heard your father was a pilot on a spice freighter, but that was just my uncle talking. ;) Seriously though, that's a sad thing. I feel for you.

One thing that always reminds me of Star Wars is when I am driving at night while it is snowing. To me it looks like I'm driving into hyperspace. and then to make myself seem even more pathetic I always say " Travellng through hyperspace aint, like dusting crops, boy" It's jst a little inside joke between me and myself.

Everyday conversations sometimes remind me of a Star Wars character saying the same. For instance, whilst reading Rollo's post, his comment about "without any thought of reward" reminded me of Qui-Gonn.

when i first start my truck, it sounds like the millinium falcon in the echo base hangar but no one offers to get out and push. every morning, the roach coach stops to sell food like jawas selling droids. when i go to jedicole's house there is always the chance that i might get mugged by thugs like tuskins in the desert. there was a coach in my high school that looked just like wuhur.

The one thing that reminds me of Star Wars is something that happens most everyday. On the way to work I always see a group of Tusken Raiders gather on a precipice with their crossbow lasers and try to "pick-off" cars that travel by. Yes, they do remind me a lot like rednecks. Fortunately for me, I seem to elude their crosshairs. But it is a battle all day and many do not make it to their destination.
All kidding aside, my dad who weighs over 300 pounds  has eating patterns that only rival Jabba the Hutt. I love my dad, but everytime he shoves something into his mouth and makes disgusting noises, it reminds of Jabba stuffing his mouth with those little fishee creatures in ROTJ. Luckily for me, I weigh a slim trim 155 and watch what I eat.

There's a shot in ESB (and also a Topps trading card. PLEEEEEASE someone add something to this section! SSG Trading Cards (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/vbportal/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=29&daysprune=) ) of Luke looking down on an extremely short Yoda on Dagobah. When I used to substitute teach for elementary kids, I'd think of that one. Children are small when they're young, you know?
When I began my teacher credential program, the first thought in my mind was "But that's a whole 'nother year!" I certainly whined like a certain farmboy, then! :(

Jedi Mara Jade 309 I agree with you completely. I do that all the time. Especially when you are in an area that is pretty dark and black and all you can see is the snow flying at your window. I tohught I was the only one who ever did that.
