Alright, I feel kind of dumb not being able to do this, but I've tried several times now and struck out each time.
I've got a site that has tons of free fonts to download. What I do is just click and it get on my computer. The trouble I'm haveing is what to do next. I don't know how to activate them so that I can use them in MS Word.
Anyone have any usefull tips or a simple thing that I'm not doing.
Thanks so much for any help you can give.

once you download them to a folder cut and paste the fonts into c:\windows\fonts...that's it! Then when you check the list of fonts in Word, SHABANG! They are there.

If you are searching for cool fonts go here: http://www.1001freefonts.com
Everything from Jedi font to Lord Of The Sith font to fonts for the logos to Transformers, Pizza Hut, Kitt Katt, etc.
Addition: Ha! I just went though the entire list (took me 20 minutes) and the funniest was the Little ninja men font. There are about 7 SW fonts and also fonts for most major toy lines, video games, tv shows and resturants. Quite cool!

I use Adobe Type Manager because if you have hundreds of fonts and only need to work with a few, you can do that without having them all "installed". You can still use them, but it saves time (loading your graphic design program) and RAM since they are all not being read.

This would be super useful for me, I hate going through that massive font list in my Photoshop and other programs. Is it a stand-alone or an add-on to something else like Acrobat?
