All of my little buttons have disappeared for the smiley faces? WHERE DID THEY GO?

I still see them in the "Your Reply" table cell. Could you describe the problem a little more, and is it constant or just once in a while?

Mine are there, but when I click on one to add it to a post, the screen goes blank for about a hundredth of a second (It flashes once, really) and I am brought back to the top of the page, but the smiley is not there...Not that I'm too lazy to type them in but I do not know the code for a lot of the smilies, and this makes it hard...

Hmm, sounds like a Javascript error. I'm not getting it in my prehistoric Netscape 4.04, so please post your computer stats (operating system, browser, etc.) so we can look into this.

I really appreciate the offer to help, but I am the most computer-illiterate person you will ever, ever see. I mean, it took me an hour just to figure out how to set avatars and attach pictures, because I'm an idiot. :D So I'll just do with using the smilies I know. (I also think this happened to me once before and fixed itself) But thank you anyway. :)

you can click on the smilie link at the bottom of the page, it explains the text needed to produce a smilie.
i lost the smilie icons after the last update, but since i rarely use them haven't been too bothered by it. i use IE 5.0 (2022) on a mac running os 9.2.2

When I post a "Post Quick Reply" there use to be little smiley buttons. Now it's just boring and dull grey.

Are we ONLY talking about Quick Reply?

if i actually go to the reply page then the smilie tool bar is present. it used to be present at the bottom of every page with the quick reply box, but now is gone.

OH! Ok, that's different. It's probably something Steve either forgot to replace when during the last forums upgrade, I'll have this looked into.
