Good to be back---have a few probs though

As I stated in this thread's title, it is good to be back here on SSG. For some inexplicable reason, I could not log onto this site starting shortly after the New Year. There was a problem logging in that I could not seem to explain or fix.

I tried the site today (after avoiding it during the Lenten season--I gave up diversionary internet viewing) and I miraculously was able to post. However there are some small problems that remain.

1) On every page I view, whether I am posting or viewing a page with posts, etc. I get a message similar to this which I will list below.

"Java Script Error

When I click on to view more details it says,



"Internet Explorer Script Error

Char: 171

Error: Unterminated String Constant

It then asks me if I want to continue running scripts on this page.


I never got this message before. I am afraid of tinkering with my browser or something because like I said, I am able to access this site and post now, something I couldn't do in the previous months.

Just one note, the URL in the error will always change, depending on what page I am accessing.

I was wondering, to myself, what happened to you as your's was one of the first names that stuck in my head when I signed on to the forums! "How did this person come up with that name, it's hilarious, like no other!" :D

Have you tried using a different browser? I'm not sure what will work but I guess it's worth a try or update your current one??? Or throw the computer down the stairs, out the window, whatever your choice, and start FRESH! ;)

Well, anyway, enough goofing off on my part, Welcome Back I sure hope you figure out what's up! :)

Thanks guys. It is good to return. You should have seen my online life without this site during the past three months or so. I think I cut my time online by 75%.
