Look what I found in the garage! Couldn't help doing another scene with the DS hallways. There's a couple of custom droids thrown in the mix. :)

Cool, I especially like the R5 unit and the DS Trooper playing tag. :D
Nice job on the walls, good thing they didn't have R4-M9 there otherwise he could've snitched that they were on the Rebel ship.

Very NICE!
Yes, how did you make those walls, or is it an ancient Chinese secret?

Thanks for the compliments!
Zen showed me the way to make those walls! ;)
The whole structure was made with foam core but the main reason why those walls look different is the lighting coming through. Much more work than a pic just pasted on the foam core but the effect shines through! :D

Is the floor just foam core painted black, or something else? It has a nice, highly polished sheen to it.

I see a foam core and I want to paint it bla-ack!
sorry, couldn't resist! :)
Actually though I was wondering if it was paper glued over the foam core but painting it and then cutting out the lil' Mike n Ike shapes makes way more sense!

The base is foam core but on top of it is a sticky vinyl tile (square foot each in size) which you can get from hardware stores.

I might have to try that trick myself!
