Slave 1 and Jango Pliot Exclusive Set ?

What ever happened to the Slave 1 with Pilot Jango Fett Figure? Was it cancelled or did it just sell that good that it's hard to find?:confused: :confused:

It was cancelled, and it appears that no other retailers wanted it. It was originally going to be an exclusive to K-Mart along with the Jedi Starfighter with Pilot Obi-Wan. But K-Mart's problems caused them to have to pass on both. The Starfighter was picked up by KB. The Slave 1 seems to have been permanently cancelled. :)

Which is no big deal, the ship and the figure would have been the same as the seperate releases. Just like the Jedi Starfighter set. There is always a chance it could pop up at a later date, but no reason for it to. But we are supposed to get the ESB deco of the Slave 1 from the AOTC's sculpt this year. :)

Ive heard a few people were excited about the possibility of a window box presentation - which would have been nice (and the only real use for this sub-par Jango Fett figure). I don't think we ever got pics of the finished product, though, and the chosen retailer probably wouldn't/won't opt for that choice of packaging due to cost. This set definitely is not necessary.

Well, golly, retailers, looking at their shelves FULL of original release slave 1's, passed on a re release with a crappy Jango figure??
