I'd like to once again bring up the question of why we still do not have an Expanded Universe forum. Please take the following into account:
-There were five regular figures released as part of the Shadows of the Empire line along with two 2-packs, one small vehicle with rider, and one mid-sized vehicle.
-There were nine figures produced for Kenner's Expanded Universe line, along with two small size vehicles.
-The entire Star Tours line (for which we do have a forum for) is in itself, an Expanded Universe line.
-There were at least four Expanded Universe figures released within the Power of the Jedi line.
-There were at least three Expanded Universe vehicles released as part of the Micro Machines Action Fleet; not counting the non-film inspired repaints.
-Fan Choice figure number 4, the Concept Sketch Stormtrooper, is most certainly EU.
-The upcoming Clone Wars line promises yet more EU figures to come. In fact, the line itself is technically EU.
Maybe it's just me, but as a fan of the Expanded Universe, I feel the EU isn't getting it's fair due. Star Tours has it's own forum section and it, so far, consists of only about nine or so proposed figures. I suppose it's possible that more figures could be produced for this line, but I think it's much more likely that we will see more non-Star Tours Expanded Universe figures down the line - technically making the EU a much less finite line than something as probably limited as Star Tours. There are a wealth of Expanded Universe possibilities that could be discussed; discussions that I, for one, feel deserve their own forum. A forum where the discussions need not be joined by those people who have no interest, or are even opposed to the Expanded Universe.
Again...just my thoughts on the matter. Certainly an EU forum is much more warranted, based on sheer volume of product alone as well as the sheer volume (and possibility) of product, than a Star Tours forum could ever be.
