How dare you want to ignore a moderator! You should be ashamed of yourself! Just you wait til one of them sees this, young man. You're gonna get it. That's a bad Caesar, bad bad bad. ;) :D

I know, I'm just being weird. Actually, it's a pretty good question. Seriously now, it's probably because they can't effectivly play Mr. Daddy Pants, if they are ignored by people. Just like they arn't allowed to ignore us. If they could, some of us more annoying folks could get away with murder. ;) :)

I definatly don't want to see moderators exposed. I like them just the way there are. Sufficently clothed and hidden from sight. Trust me, no one wants to see moderators running around without their daddy pants. ;) :D

You cannot ignore the mods because what that have to say is the law and it is so utterly important that it cannot possibly be ignored.
Do I know from expirience? Yep. It will not allow me to ignore JT, no matter how hard, or how many times I try it.

I always keep my Daddy Pants on . . . . . . I'll get arrested otherwise.
Here's my take. If you were allowed to ignore the Mods and Admin, then you could ignore us all, run a muck all over the place, and would not see what any of us, (being the Mods), were warning you about. Then you would get banned b/c we, (The Mods), would think you are ignoring us, which you actually are, and then you would be complaining and yelling about getting banned and saying we never said anything to you, but we did, you just never saw it. *whew*
That might be a problem. Er . . . . . maybe.

I want to put everyone on my ignore list and have conversations with myself. Then It could be SirJonna's Forums and I could tell myself things that I already know and then act smug about the info because "Du...I already knew that" and then I could start a flame war with myself because my jokes suck and they should be banned and then I could ban myself for banning myself and then the black hole would turn in upon itself and eat itself and there would be nothing left and perhaps, just perhaps by then I will learn how to use a period instead of this hiddious run on sentence

Well, I want to ignore Tycho. Can't see how having a moderator be ignored can be a problem given that the PM system exists for passing judgement type messages along. Moderatorly judgements should be private anyway to save humiliating people in public. Doesn't matter how bad a person behaves they don't deserve to be villified by admin in public. The only time that sort of thing applies is when a mod offers a general statement of cease and desist. other than that it's waaaaaaay too personal to be healthy in public arenas.

I think we should be given the ability to ignore the mods and take our own chances of being banned due to not getting info from them because we igged them. Besides...they can email us a warning.
If you ignore a person, you still recieve PM's from them, right? :confused:
I think Ignore blocks PMs . . . I'm not certain.

IGNORE blocks PMs, and I think the sender doesn't even know it's being blocked.
Speaking of PMs, did we lose the message tracking function?
I haven't used it in awhile, but I tried today and it won't show anything, read or unread. :)
