I was curious to know if we stopped using the post count feature?
I just noticed that my count hasnt changed for awhile and I've posted many times.

Not that I have noticed. You may be posting in non-counting areas. Some areas of the forums do not add to your post count. You may just not be noticing your count increase. Not that post count means anything besides numbers anyway. Just have fun and not worry about them. :)

LOL I know Jar Jar...it just seems like I've having all kinds of issues from not receiving email etc etc...I think the server hates me!

Well the posts counts seem to be gone. Is it going to stay this way?

I believe so and thank the Maker! Getting rid of the post counts has been a topic of debate for some time now. I beleive this is one of the best things SirSteve could have done:D.

Now your rank will increase as normal, and you CAN view anyone's post counts, including your own, by clicking on their name and checking out their profile. But as far as a public post count, those have gone.

lol. I know what you mean. There were a couple days where I couldn't even log in.:crazed:

As for the post count it doesn't matter either way to me if it's visible.

I think it was a week or so ago. I don't remember the exact date, but I remember relizing it. SirSteve would know, since he did it.

Yes, I believe this is the best of both worlds. They are gone from the Threads but can still be viewed in your profile.

You know, the funny thing is, since the post counts aren't so obvious anymore, I feel even more at ease posting silly "post padding" contributions. Somehow, having that number out there on the front burner was a deterent to frivolous posting. Oh well.
