Upstate New York finds

Has anyone seen the Target Exclusive cup sets out? If so, what is the proper price that they are supposed to be selling for? I've heard some people claim $12.99 but others have said they are a clearance item selling for under $2? The frontpage of www.rebelscum.com (http://www.rebelscum.com) details how a buyer got one for $1.96. IS THIS THE REAL PRICE?????
Can anyone enlighten me as to the real deal on these sets?

The retail price is 12.99. Somew Targets have stuck them on clearance already, so the 1.87 and 1.96 are clearance

Its a crap shoot as to which Targets clearance what. Stores are alotted x amount of dollars for each dept. each month. So what they clearance is up to them.

Well, N.F. Target has the new 3 for 12.99. Just got back from the gallaria KB and their SW pegs have nothing but 48-56 on em. Picked up the Mustafar Sentry, New Obi, and an At-Rt driver. Still no Evo set yet, but i'll check angain tomorrow. And Elk- If you're willing to pay 8.99 a pop for em the Gallaria KB has about 8 of the m&m Fett pack!

I happened to stop by the Rite Aid on Union Rd. btw. George Urban and Walden last night and they had two OTC Imperial Scanner troopers, along with two landos, a lobot and a cloud car pilot. Figures were $8.99 though so i don't know if its that good of a deal for the scanner troopers at that price but its probably less than what you'd end up paying on e-bay or something with shipping.

There were three troopers and thanks for the info Andy because I stopped by there on the way to the Galleria today to get one of them.

The Galleria as stated earlier had plenty of Mustafar Sentries, AT-RT Drivers, and the new Obi-Wans, as well as a few crispy Anakins and Commander Bacaras.

Stopped at Galleria KB to pick up the Mustafar Sentry. There was still one left at noon when I left the store.

If anyone is intrested i was at KB at Galleria today and found (3) 500th Vaders, (5) Obi-wan Read Leaders and (1) Shock Trooper. Also swung by Target near by but nothing just the typical finds except they had about 12 Vaders.

Was it the target or the K-mart in North Buffalo that you found the green Clone Army? if it was K-mart I'm gonna have to check out the other locations if it's Target on Delaware I'm going to have to excuse myself for a moment and bash my head against the wall repeatedly because Ive been going there constantly including just yesterday to try and find that set. Good find though the guy at the flea market told me he found two of the green sets and sold them for $40 a piece.

It was from the Deleware Target. But dont beat yourself up to bad...the backing card is kinda warped. Overall condition is about 75% good. The other store i mentioned was the KB behind that Target.

I work near by and check almost daily. Also i'm close enough to the Galleria location to do the same.

Once again i was out at lunch and came across a jetpack trooper, stass alie exploding barc. Still plenty of Obi-wan Redleaders and Sentrys as well as a few AT-RT and Vaders. Also i found a Anakin Evolution but it was badly damaged.

yeah, i went on a breif hunt on my lunch break today and NF has got jack squat. Target is finally in the middle of it's toy re-set, but because of that there are no SW figs on the shelf whatsoever. and as for the evolutions set, if anyone spots it damaged or not please stash it away . i plan on ripping that sucker open.:D (by the by despite the reset there's still a bacura hidden at nf target, if you need him pm me for the location)

last night at the walden target they had 1 vulture droid, 1 stass & speeder, and 1 jetpack clone. Thismorning at the blvd target they had the jedi vs sith battlepacks (4 of em) and Finally the Evolution set for anakin! they had 5 more after i got mine. oh, and oddly enough i grabbed the 2 senetors from the tarkin wave at the NF walmart, which other than those two figs had jack.

1S - Nothing almost at all to be seen.
2Y - (1) 500th vader, Gammorean 12", Red Leaders... But they hada few cases being opened as i left i thought the last box was figures.. someone should stop in later and check.

I went to the Wal-Mart in Lockport and they finally got in some of the Titanium Series including a special edition Die Cast 5 pack that they had for $19.99. The Target on Walden had some Micro Machines Wave 2 stuff in as well as a Vulture Droid and a Stass. The KB at the Galleria had some Obi-Pilots and a lot of older figures back including some now hard to find C-3POs and Tank Gunners.

Checked out East Greenbush Wal-Mart, found that they stocked up the Deluxe Figures, picked up Clone army pack, blue variation, they also had a couple Anakin on table.

Went on an annual trip to the Finger Lakes region in Central New York. Stopped at three Wal-Marts along routes 5 & 20 and found many interesting things. At one Wal-Mart (Seneca Falls) I found many 3 packs of Clone Troopers, with the green variation (PM me cuz I got an extra ;) ) and an Operating Table Vader. At the Geneva Wal-Mart they hadn't much but some older, now harder to find figures and the Wal-Mart in Canadaigua had the 3 packs of Clone with the white trooper and a Clone Trooper with backpack.

I went to the Boulevard area today and managed to only hit the Target & K-Mart. K-Mart had jack doo-doo while Target had the new Unleashed wave (Sidious/Yoda, Asajj, and Vader) and the new Micro transforming Turbo Tank Playset.

Scored the Tarkin Wave minus Tarkin himself and the green clone commander.

Went to the Wal-Mart in Lockport today and saw the Evolution Set with Mail, Dooku and Palpatine and the Battle Pack featuring Assaj Ventress (I passed on both). Also they had a Clone Deluxe with Jet Backpack and a Utapaun Warrior which I picked up as well as Jett and Antilles.

I found the blue variation of the three pack Clones last night at Target meaning that the only one I have left to find is the red variation, which I am not going to back my break over finding, because I have that variation from the Clone Wars figure line from two years.

The Target on Transit had the remnants of the Tarkin wave as well as the first Royal Guard (red version) that I ever have seen in person for Episode III. They had the Clone Trooper battlepacks and still lots of Lava figures and a truckload of Neomodian Warriors.

Went to a few places yesterday, to catch-up on Christmas shopping. Of course I had to stop at Target and Kay-Bee, while making the rounds and saw that all the good SW toys are pretty much disappearing from the shelves, leaving behind a bunch of crap. The Lava figures have seemingly disappeared from Target--can anyone confirm that? Last time I was there, they had truckloads of them. Was there a clearance I missed?

Went to a few places the last couple of days to try and find some post-Christmas bargains. I did buy an Unleashed Battle Pack, the one with Grevious and Obi-Wan at the Super-Wal-Mart on Transit. That place also had a whole bunch of clearance stuff, from 11.00 Unleashed figures (Obi-Wan & Assaj) to 300th Vaders and tons of lightsabers. They also had an early-bird, mail-away special, the only one I have seen, for $30.

Media Play is going out of business and they had tons of 300th Vaders and not much else. They did have a couple of Han Solo busts for, if I am not mistaken, around $25 and a VOTC 12" Luke for around $18.

Went to the Galleria today and picked up the new Titaniums at $5. For KB, that is not a horrible price at all.

Saw Transformers, Mpires on clearance and yes those stupid Motorcycles.

The Target on Walden had Barada, Solo, Bib Fortuna and Chewies. The Star Cases were on clearance for 6.98 as well as a lone Sidious vs. Mace for $10.

Made a few stops today on my day off. Checked out Targets in Colonie, Latham, and Niskayuna. Only saw Hoth wave at Latham one though, passed on it because of the assinine prices of 6.99. Also checked out Wal-Mart's in Rotterdam, K-Mart in Colonie and Wal-Mart in Latham, nothing really new though. If anyone stumbles upon a Millenium Falcon on clearance anywhere please grab it for me, I'm willing to pay up to 50 for one, please help if possible!

The Luke Skywalker motorcycle was clearanced for lord knows how much.

I went up and down Niagara Falls Boulevard and Delaware Avenue today and saw the following:

Target on Delaware: Plenty of figures, just nothing worth of note.


Kay-Bee on Delaware: See above.


K-Mart on Hertel: Got a Darth Vader Action Bank for clearance price of $12. Batteries were shot so the thing didn't work, that's why i think it was clearanced so low. Went home, put the new batteries in, and it works fine.

Also had a 10% sale off any regular Star Wars item. Everything I wanted, they had overpriced anyway, so the 10% amounted to nothing.


Toys R Us on the Boulevard: Saw the AT-AT Walker for $90, actually contemplated getting it, had it in my hand, but saw the heroes and villains figures on sale for $5.99 and took advantage of that sale.


K-Mart on the Boulevard: Doing a restocking of the shelves, had very little, but again, a 10% sale.

At Blvd Mall KB Toys I picked up the reissued "EPII Greatest Battles" R4-G9 and AT-TE Tank Gunner.

Also at Blvd TRU I found Moff Jerjerrod. They also had the C-3PO with the Ewok chair, but I passed... didn't find any of Chief Chirpa, still looking for that one.

Thanks, I guess I sorta forgot about this place... I've actually been spending a lot more time on my GI Joe collection over the past couple years and only buying the Star Wars stuff once in a blue moon. GI Joe is basically kinda dead right now at retail, because Hasbro discontinued 12" GI Joe and relegated most of the 3¾" product to the online stores, but I still check the toy stores every once in a while. Sometimes I get lucky and find a few Star Wars toys I want, but it's kinda rare.

Popped in Glenmont WM today, nothing but R2's and left over SAGA still sitting on the pegs, Vaders are still on the endcap. East Greenbush WM had a few more of the TAC, Windu, Miner, Obi-Wai and R2's...picked up Mace, Obi, and R2. Keeping my eye on the Saga tin's that they have of the cantina band on clearance, currently for 20 a piece, gonna wait to see if they drop a little more.

My Wally-Mart just got a huge shipment of the last waves of the VOTC (Endor Han, Greedo, Tusken Raider, etc.) Things ain't going to move for $9.99apiece.

Wow my first post in here for over a year.

Anyway, Target has clearanced the Order 66 sets from 9.99 to 6.99. Picked up a Sevu and ARC-Trooper. They had about 3 of sets 4-6 available as of yesterday.

I also broke down and bought the arena battle set from Geonosis at TRU. There goes my allotment of purchases for the next month.
