Went to the Boulevard area today on a little spree and found very little. If you love the Playskool Star Wars toys, then this is your season.

Target had 2 Anakin's Starfighters, a few clearanced Bossk Unleashed, and a crapload of Playskool. Ditto for K-Mart. I didn't get to make it to either KB or TRU.

BTW, does anyone know the correct procedure on obtaining the Lava Vader at Target. I read the article in the news section, and it was quite ambigious.
Am I correct to say that you have to show up the day before and receive some sorta raincheck?

there were 3 kits
about 6 pegs of the 3 3/4 which looked as if they already been picked thru
sum force battlers and 12 inchers (only clone troopers and grievious)
there wasnt much else , i bought the kits a chopper droid
2 grievious bodyguards, a padme ,a vader , and a palpatine.
i plan on covering alot of ground in the next week so hopefully
i can find the rest of the pieces i deem fit for my collection

I missed Midnight Madness, but not by choice. It was funny because I do have money to burn and the means to travel however since I am planning on going to Celebration III, I have decided to hold onto my money.

Just curious, will the new Kohl's stores carry toys? I hear they sell mostly clothes, but have other stuff as well.

And how is the selection of Episode III stuff? Have the scalpers picked apart the stores or are figures bountiful?

I've been seeing lots of red guards in the K mart on hertle ave and the KB toys in the boulivard mall. Still haven't seen anything above 32 other than polis massin though. I'm patiently waiting for the palpatine with interchangable heads and the #36 grevious. Mmmmmmm.... Exploady.

Ask and ye shall recieve! Found figures 32-40 today at the target on N.F. Boulivard. Decent amount of pilots and palpatine but by the time i got there they only had one of most of the rest so i grabbed 'em. GG seems to rock the hardest out of these ones. Next to the clone commander of corse. But it's nice to know they're out there.

I haven't dedicated much of my time to looking (saving my $$$), but I have made a few trips here and there. Every figure 1-32 seems to be in abundance, with the exception of the Royal Guards.

It seems many stores have overordered yet again. I went to a Wal-Mart and saw an aisle dedicated to Star Wars figures, an additional separate display containing figures, and I went to peek back where the figures were originally sold, and they had about 50 there.

I made a crazy run today of most of the Niagara Falls/ Buffalo stores and wow. CRAZY overabundance of 1-32. Found a few commanders, one pilot, one gunner and Amedda at the Falls Wal-Mart. and then at the boulivard Wal place i got my hands on two s-a clones! #41! Woo! now to find that medical table vader and the droid to stand next to it. that'll be a hunt.

That's cool Im starting agrievous collection Im mostly collecting his 4 inch stuff and Star Wars Minis of him. episode 3 is the first set Im trying to complete. I used to mainly collect vehicles there is only a couple they Interest me from ep 3.

I got the target clone last week at the Blvd. Target using the #. (087 06 1489) I got it from the lady at the service desk and I filled out a comment card for her saying she was really helpful.

Tonight I was at Target on Transit Road at 8:00 pm and there were two full cases sitting on the cart. they had clone commander, clone pilot, palpatine red saber and #36 Grevious. I already had those figures so I left them in the boxes. If anyone needs those figures you should check there when they open in the morning. I was pretty annoyed that when I finnally had the luck to find two unopened cases there was nothing I needed.

Strategist- There was a Republic Gunship at Kay Bee in the Blvd. mall last week. It was $29.99

it really is a worthwile stop considering its only 15 mins over the border

I saw figures #34 and #35 at the Target by the Galleria yesterday. Picked up an Unleashed Anakin and although I only have 3 Unleashed Figures, he is one that I knew I couldn't have passed up.

the N.F. Target had the exclusive clones as of 11:00 this morning. you just have to ask someone for one. they also had plenty of red saber palps #36 GG and the rest of that wave up to 40. Picked up mas amedda and another tank gunner. I stashed a CC and A Gunner behind the lego bionicles for anyone still looking. also found a blue saber palps at the Summit Mall TRU. Now if only i could find that #%^$@$ wave 2 delux vader.

I can't locate the Red or Blue Guards...and don't even get me started on Darth Tater!! The Padme action figure is also very, very hard to find around here. The only time I saw that one was the morning of April 2nd. As for the blue lightsaber Palpatine, I can't find him either. Does the time of day have anything to do with my chances of scoring one of these rarities??

the mckinnly mall target as of 9:30 this morning was fully stocked with
the new deluxe.4 vaders, 1 vulture driod, and plenty of the yoda and
the trooper.strange tho , ithink theres a variant on the vader. two of them had a glossy head and two had a like a flat paint . it was a noticeable
difference. an the 3 3/4 were stocked with 33-37 . i stashed 2 commanders

The NF area is still dry as far as the new deluxe wave goes. Plenty of everything up to 40 with the obvious exceptions (Royal Guards, Gunners, Etc.)
And The regal hollywood 12 in NF has tickets for the midnight show still. Or they did as of last night. It's my "place of buisness". Which kicks *** because I work may 18th. from 6 to 12:01 on the 19th. Then i clock out and run myself into the theatre (#8 is the biggest theatre we have, and thus where most people are requesting tickets for) If the managers ok it we'll be using lightsabers instead of flashlights. God i'm hyped.

Darth Waffle that's cool that you work at Regal, I worked at Transit Regal for three years starting from when it opened. I probably watched Episode one about a thousand times on breaks and in between checking theaters while I was ushering. I remember we had an advance screening two weeks before Episode one opened for Pepsi employees and I kept trying to sneak past the GM to catch a glimpse.

I'm really glad that this forum is starting to become more active and more of a community. I have been lurking for forever and only sporadically posting but I think it would be really cool to become a more cohesive forum and really try to help each other out and beat the Walden Super Flea scalpers.

In that spirit I have an extra red royal guard that I decided not to keep if someone wants it for the price I paid for it at Walmart. I know Jedi said he needs one, so just ask.

Lol walden flea market I went there looking for lava vader a couple weeks ago. They have quick draw clone and count dooku for $12 each lmao and general grievous 12 inch for $35 though they had cartoon network grievous for $10 which I should have bought. MY finds today at walmart in lockport 2x Clone Commander 2x Clone pilot (finally got the 4 pilots I needed for ships) and the Republic Gunship.

Did anyone in the area find the Walmart Early Bird Kit after MM on 4/2? I had to send away for mine through www.walmart.com (http://www.walmart.com). I was just curious as to whether they were ever even in the Buffalo area. I went to a local one on 4/2 and asked if they had the exclusive kit and an employee told me that all he knew was that Walmart was getting in the new action figures for the new movie.

Great day for hunting today. I hit the N.F. Target thismorning before work (around 11 or so) and they had everything up to 44 in abundance. Except the royal guards. Nemodians, Wookiees, SA clones! It was like a field day. They still had a good handful after work too. No new deluxes on the pegs, but my second stop i entered the scan code into the price check thing and they were in the stockroom. So score! I finally got the frickin vader. And I don't think our regal is doing anything special. We haven't gotten in any cups or anything yet (but we also serve only Coke products) but I'll keep my eyes open. I'll be passing around a vader helmet full of Ep. III cereal, as it's an odd tradition my friends and i have had since SE, and patrolling with a lightsaber though. And i may be able to snag an extra poster or two after it's done if anyone else wants one.

I went on a hunting spree but didn't get much I stopped at 11 stores (Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Media Play, Toy R' Us, Kay-Bee) and only ended up buying an extra clone pilot 33-36 were plentiful at most locations. Most of the vehicles were in good supply except the Republic Gunship and Droid Tri Fighter. I almost got another Target exclusive clone trooper at the one on transit(I saw in some guys cart and the pegs were empty where they were so I just missed it. The target on transit also has 3 of the Obi-Wan Collectors cups ( as of 8:15 pm) if anyone is interested that was the only place that I stopped at that had 37-40 but no AT-TE Gunners :frus: oh well hope you have better luck than me.

I have only been to the Super Flea once for Star Wars figures, about 4 years ago. I am not the one to throw money around lightly, and about the only thing I picked up was a ToyFare Exclusive Action Fleet X-Wing (for $5, less then retail) ;)

I made a run through the TRUs at the Summit & the Boulevard as well as the Target and K-Mart located there. The rarest figure I saw was a Clone Commander. Plenty of super deformed at the K-Mart.

A few posts back I mentioned how psyched I am about the Burger King toy promotion. Last night I happened to be at a local BK and asked the employee what was going on. He said the "Choose Your Destiny" gamepieces would start today (5/11). When I asked about the toys he said he didn't think they were going to start that until maybe this Friday, and that they would be included in kids' meals.

My understanding through reading webpages and such was that the toy promotion ALSO started today and that you could get TWO toys included in your adult value meal. What gives here??????

Strategist- are you an opener then? (since you spoke of army building) If so next #6 or 41 clone i spot i'll grab and paint up to target design. i've been painting/customizing miniatures and figures for years, i'm just too tired or lazy these days to post pictures.

And DrSidious and elkkthunder- i'll let you guys know as soon as i know how many posters i can nab. there are really only two huge fans there going crazy over the posters, and that's myself and the manager in charge of them so odds are good.

I just started army building It will be a scene with a gunship, arc 170, barc speeder, and At -Rt filled there crew and 3 jedi starfighters in the background for obi, anakin, and sasee tinn(Im using the green anakin one since he had a green one in clone wars). And last but not least Ill have the Undetermined amount of clones charging out with 2 clone commanders and baccara and maybe a few jedi (hopefully my special squad of 3 target clones). NF regal looks like we'll be getting in another print. so if all goes well we'll have one more theatre to fill opening night. Roughly 250 seats would be available. i havent heard of that happinin yet,
they cant sell um with out putting in the meal first in the register.
it is 2 per meal at 1.29 .
but you figure 5 or 6 figs a case (w or w/o vader)
this is about 3 value meals a week. but if you buy 3 meal right of the bat, theres your wave. feed your family. i still wont eat it, but ill let other people eat it.
and im sure if you go inta tha hood, or like alden you could slip um like a buck a fig. i did it with the simpsons toys awhile back.

I was at Target Blvd. too around 1pm and they had about twenty Target Exclusive Clones on the pegs.

I went looking for the dark brown version of the wookie warrior and they had about ten of those. There was only one or two tan ones. The only delux left when I was there were yoda and the vulture droid. also tons of nemodian soldiers and clone commanders and a few destroyer droids.

I stashed a Target clone and a tan wookie behind the lego jedi star fighters on the other end of the star wars isle. there were so many employee walking around I couldn't find a better spot.

Walmart on the Blvd had tons of chopper droids, polis massans and mas ameddas. no gunners.

Also I went to BK on main and Bailey and they only had wicket and jabba.

Got tickets for the 11:00 showing of ROTS at the Regal on Transit Road in Williamsville. I used Fandango for the first time. They charge $1.00 per ticket but it is beats driving up there and getting them.

I'm faaaar too pumped up for this movie right now. other than the fact that I have to work at 9 the next morning. Regal is changing ther hours for about 2 weeks after the release just for this move. we'll be open 10 to 12. Crazy, but i love it. and I just found out that I can also get into the imax for free with one other person (as well as regular regal theatres with two). i can't count how many times i'll see the damned thing. still haven't spotted a mustafar, but perhaps i'll check again tomorrow. let me know if anyone sees it about.:D

I bought the battle arena because it has a rocky look to the platform so i thought it would look cool attached to the volcano. But the battle arenas each split into to parts and you're suppossed to connect four of these segments to form a circle. so the obi wan/bodyguard arena looks wierd attached to the volcano because the volcano connection is only the size of one segment, so when you attach them theres a segment missing. I'm glad I have it but it looks incomplete like I would have to buy half of someone else's arena to make it look complete. The body gaurd has a ball jointed neck and just arm and leg joints at the shoulders and waist. the staff is removable and the droid is different than the carded ones, mostly in the paint color.

You could attach any battle arena to the volcano it would look wierd though having say palpatines office floor attached to a volcano.

As for the other connections there is a spot for vaders' medical table and that attaches to the medical droids stand on the left you can then attach padme and c3pos stand to that- so it looks like a lava flow coming from the table.

I'd be interested if anyone else can find anything else to attach to it because it looks like there are more places for things to attach.

i took a good look at it and its a utapau base not mustafar.
but the b-guard is cool as hell.
also if you bought the carded b-guard try switching his cape,
put his head back on , he'll be lookin straight up.
stick his now free right leg into a stand bend him forward and he can arch his staff over his head kinda like hes running headlong (i posed him like that running at shak tii)
its kinda cool, or at least i think it is.tell me if im just halucinatin or smokin glue.

i opened the rots 3p0 when i got home and was amazed.

I saw the movie last night at the Regal on Transit at an 11:00 p.m. showing. I was very surprised that the theatre was just over 1/2 full, but they seemed to have a viewing every 15 minutes, so that might explain the empty seats.

The first half of the movie I thought dragged on and confirmed my fears that nothing in the prequels would rival the storyline of the original trilogy. Hayden was wooden in his acting, the dialogue was yet again seemingly written by a someone who's native language was not English and only the scenes of Grevious, Dooku and the Jedi piloting the crashing ship were the bright spots.

The second half of the movie though picked up steam, starting when Mace Windu and the Jedi attempt to arrest Palpatine. The extermination of the Jedi was sad to see, but inevitable. Anakin's turn to the Dark Side was complete and the battle scene on Mustafar lived up to expectations.

It's sad to say, that at least for the time being, we won't have another Star Wars movie to look forward to :cry:

I went to a local BK last Wednesday and all that they had at that time was Wave 2. I happened to be out of town over the weekend and it was the same story in Pennsylvania. So far this is what I have: Vader, Luke, Han, The Falcon, Wicket, Jabba, Darth Maul, X-Wing, R2-D2, Yoda, and Chewie. Wave 3 is supposed to consist of Padme, Jawa, The Podracer, and a couple others.

This set is going to be amazing when all is said and done.

I also saw some Darth Taters this evening at Target in Amherst. I bought one and my friend got two; so when we left, there were only two remaining. Price was $6.99.

I have seen ROTS twice now. It was a little better the 2nd time, but I think it did not live up to the hype. Episode 1 was garbage, but I still have always like attack of the clones.

I am in need of BK Vader and will pay to anyone that has one, to continue to support your toy habit. I decided to only get a few and am getting the Jawa and Boba Fett.

I was at the Dick and George Urban yesterday and they did not have any new ones.

Even though I haven't been there, I am almost certain that the Lockport BK has the last wave in. They had the Boba Fett wave in a week ago, and it takes them only 5 or 6 days to get through a wave, so my guess is that by now wave 6 is appearing there.

I purchased a lone Diecast A-Wing Titanium Vehicle from my local Wally-Mart. Nemodian Warriors are the new pegwarmers.

It is interesting to see that the last time I checked at the K-Mart on Niagara Falls Boulevard and at Kohl's they had a gabizillion Super Deformed and Barc Trooper with Speeder Bikes respectively. Each had a great big part of their shelves dedicated to them. Now K-Mart had 1 deformed left and Kohl's 3 bikes. Even my local Wally-Mart's pegs are getting plucked so that there are only 1/2 the figures they've had at the beginning.

And yes the Lockport BK has the last wave on sale.

The only ones I need now are Anakin's Podracer, Watto, Obi-Wan, Padme, an X-Wing, and of course a Vader. I'll hope to lessen that number during the upcoming week when they get back the assortment of waves to sell.

the wave looks in short supply right now. proly the same deal as the mustafar ani wave.
walmart near mckinnly had a freakin butt load of titanium and every 3 3/4 fig was a nemoidian warrior, all 30 of um.an the target had the new wave of deluxe (crab droid,clone troopers,stass ali,spider droid). mustafar playsets everywhere. bk promotion ends july 15th according to one of the mgrs at the newly reopened union (near genesse) only stuff they had was the last wave.
i was also told that a mgr at the transit-broadway location collected 10 complete sets and 19 vaders.
the red guard and the dooku i had stashed at topps is gone.did anyone get the free $10 gift card from kohls? i got 2 , it was nice to pick up 4 figs for 6 bux.
in my opinion there just going to keep switching up the case assts untill x-mas time when the dvd goes on sale. everything been showing up ,with the exception of these last 2 waves.

My BK toy collection is now complete. My favorites: Jabba, Grievous, Jar Jar, the Landspeeder, Vader's TIE, and, of course, Vader himself.

Can't wait for the BK promotion in November with the watches.

Nice to see the Darth Taters becoming more plentiful now...that may be one of the coolest non-action figure toys this year.

I went to the Super Wal-Mart during the early morning hours this morning and they had several of the Commander Baccara wave. That's the nice thing about late night shopping. I noticed that someone was restocking the figures as I went, and I just picked up Anakin and Baccara passing on R2.

targets at Transit, Niagara Falls Blvd and Delaware all recieved new stock on Monday morning. I was totally surprised by this as I don't normally see them stock on Mondays. All three seemed to get the Delux fugure wave three case with Stass Allie with speeder, clone three pack and repacks of yoda on can-cell and darth vader operating table. I also was lucky enough to get the wookie hellicopter as another collector was picking it up as i walked into the isle but he found me another one buried behind all the Bogas and Barc speeders. I was to late to get the clone three packs at most of the stores except for one all white set. Also target on transit had leftover mustafar R2's, so they must have had the bacara wave. They also had all the new figure with cup sets out. I guess the lesson to be learned is to check every day for stuff.

Went on a camping trip this weekend down in the Southerntier and stopped at the Wal-Mart in Warsaw for the heck of it, and I saw that they had the same assortment of basic figures, but I saw for the first time a Crab Droid, Stass Allie and Yoda on Can-cel deluxe figures for sale. Would have picked them up had I not spent so much on camping.

Went to the Elmwood area stores in Buffalo last night.

KB has a sale on Star Wars toys in where you buy one item regular price, you get 50% off another item that is equal or lesser value than the first. The pickens were quite shallow, but I missed some of the preview figures like Tion Medon and got those (regular priced $7.99 ouch!). Other than that, they had some marked up 12" figures.

Target had plenty of the Mustafar Playset and Micro Playsets as well. They were starting to clearance some Legos and some 3-D Puzzles.

K-Mart on Hertel had some Super Deformed left as well as some now harder to find figures like Mon Mothma.

Did anyone hear about the Star Wars toys that shut down the Buffalo airport yesterday?

Apparently, they X-rayed an abandon package found at the airport and the screener saw something that looked like a pipe-bomb. They evacuated the airport and called in the bomb squad to open it. It turned out it was just a Star Wars toy lightsaber. The evacuation delayed about 29 morning flights.

I happened to stop by the Rite Aid on Union Rd. btw. George Urban and Walden last night and they had two OTC Imperial Scanner troopers, along with two landos, a lobot and a cloud car pilot. Figures were $8.99 though so i don't know if its that good of a deal for the scanner troopers at that price but its probably less than what you'd end up paying on e-bay or something with shipping.

Rite Aid has always been a supply of harder-to-find figures, for years now. I remember seeing many expanded universe figures there, in the late 1990's, like Grand Admiral Thrawn and others, prior to even collecting figures.

I purchased a few rare Action Fleet ships there including two Tie Defenders and Jabba's Sail Barge. They also had some rarer Action Fleet Battle Packs that were not easy to find at other retail stores.

The last figures I remember getting there were the Clone War Kit Fisto and Saesee Tiin.



Today, I went to Target on Transit and saw some now hard-to-find figures like Darth Vader and Clone Trooper #6.

TRU on Transit hadn't much but a few M & M collections. They also have two-pack Episode III figures for $8.49.

after a hellish stint of working 2 jobs and having very little time to go toy hunting i've finally gotten back into the game in the past week or two(people co-operating and letting you have the day off you want is nice) . i was able to score a 500th vader at the NF wal-mar thursday night. they got in two cases, but i imagine they're long gone. i'm only really searching for mustafar ani and the evolutions set (any n all whenever the other 2 come out) but the most i've seen is a #48 r2 at the NF target today. For whoever didn't get them i managed to snag like 15 extra of the "Who's Your Daddy?" mini-posters,so let me know if you want one and we'll figure out how to get it to you(I've got more than enough) and i've also got an extra large and small mylar (the little plastic-ie things with the titles they put above movie times and the theatres) and an extra teaser poster i'm willing to part with. it has a bit of sun damage and wrinkle, but it's still very Display-able.
