No, you're not seeing things. That isn't a typo, either.

Stoopid people who think, if they pay an outrageous price for it, it must be, or will be worth something more. :D

Don't these clowns know there are stores out there like Wallyworld and Target that sell these things?

Why pay $40.00 when you could get it for $4.99 plus tax, and add in the cost of gas to get there and you still haven't put in $40.00. :crazed:

If these sell, I have some ocean front property in Arizona that could make me a rich man.......:p

does anyone know when that item was listed in the store? It could have been listed before 4-23 and the store forgot to lower the price.

Doubt it - Yoda is advertised right on their front page (as a "hot seller", no less), which is updated often.

They price by "rarity" and "shortpacking", which is why on their Muppets figures, Miss Piggy and Kermit are going for $5.99, but Dr. Teeth and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew are both $14.99 each. May as well buy your stuff on eBay, before going to a store like this.

On the ball with that one Odi!

$39.99 is outrageously stupid! We are running an idiocracy here!

I bought my yoda for $49.99,............jk. Some people dont know what is going on in the star wars world. they might be collectors of like some real valuable things like antique cars or something and they never collected SW before and all of a sudden decide to collect Yoda for like 39 bucks, oh well. If you are filthy rich, who really cares what you pay for a figure as long as it truly makes you or your kid happy, even if your not filthy rich. just my opinion.

I think for that price, a person should get something else besides that Yoda. Like a severe beating for even considering spending that much money.

Like Figurestasher said, perhaps a new collector who decides to buy a Yoda and cannot find him anywhere will pay the big bucks, but inly if he can afford it. Then that collector stumbles upon Sir Steve's website and finds the reality of collecting Star Wars.
