Boy, the Buckeyes finally came alive in the second half after apparently falling asleep after that first drive in the first. Great game!! It was also great to see both Michigan and Nebraska lose yesterday. Nebraska got smacked around pretty hard which makes it even sweeter!

I know this is probably blasphemy E.P., but I was sorta routing for Michigan yesterday. Just for 2 reasons.........
1. The Big 10 needs some respect. Especially after Michigan State going down the way they did against Cal.
2. I would really have liked OSU and Michigan both to be undefeated going into the last game of the season. That would have made things really interesting.

But other than those 2 things, I was as happy as anyone to see Michigan go down. And I hate Penn State too, but I hate Nebraska even more so that slaughter was awesome. I thought P.S. was gonna the a cake walk this year, but I think that 's the next buckeye road block. I was at the WSU game yesterday and hopefully I'll be at P.S. and Michigan too.

I went to WM today. There wasn't much, all of the Gunships and Acklays are gone, but they did have the first 3 Cantina Bar Sets. Let me tell you, I was REALLY tempted to but one, but I held off because I'm going on a hunt tomorrow. The Greedo is pretty cool, but the Hammerhead isn't too special, and the Ponda Boba, although appealing with a removable arm, is basically the same thing as the original one. If I got Greedo, I would have needed the other 2. :D I am just going to get the Kitik Keed'Kak wave. I'm hoping to find the Deluxe C-3PO or new Clonetroopers tomorrow, wish me luck!

Well, I'm back. There wasn't much of anything anywhere. At Target there were pegs for the Accessory sets, but no sets. At least there's hope, though. I had a crappy experience at a video game outlet that sells SW figures for $7.00. Anyway, all of the figures there were in a bin marked 50% off. So I decided to get a FB Jango since I didn't have him and he was only $3.50...Or so I thought. When I went to buy them the guy said he didn't know how the figures got in the 50% off bin, and that it was regular price. I would not pay $7.00 for a FB Jango, so I left. I could have forced him to give it to me for 50% off since that is what it was marked as, but I just didn't feel like it. Oh well, maybe I'll have better luck next time.

Yep. It sucks. But there aren't many new figures coming here, so I'll have enough time to save up and buying a FB Jango from WM won't take a huge chunk out of my finances. Until then, I'm satisfied with my Kamino Jango. This is one of the best figures Hasbro has ever made.

There isn't any assembly (Except for putting the guts in its stomach). But when you open it its legs will all be positioned very close to each other and I think they are upside down. You need to twist them into their normal position, which takes some time, since you have to be careful. Make sure you don't break it. Just take your time. I'm sure you are going to love it, it's really cool. :)
Oh, by the way, I recommend wrapping the guts back up in their bag when your done using them. Mine are in the bag, in the stomach. I'm sure this will preserve them.

Yes, that is a downside. I got it to stand correctly in my improved arena diorama, but it was very hard. I wish it had the clear stand shown in the SSG database...Oh well. It's still cool. :)

I finally made it to the local Walmarts here after staying away for nearly a month. I was shocked, but not suprised, to see no new figures since my last visit. They're still burning off the peg warmers from the early summer.

Damn! That really sucks. Other than the Bar Sets, the (ONE) Gunship, and the (ONE) Acklay, there haven't been any new figures here either. I was on a hunt yesterday. There were shipping crates, and I asked an employee if they were allowed to open them. They said no. I didn't pester them or anything, I just said ok and left. There is a new line in my signature, too. :D

On the Browns issue, I really don't think that they suck, they've just have had some bad breaks that lost them 2 games. Seriously without the helmet throwing thing or the Steelers getting the ball back for a second field goal attempt the Browns would be 4-0 right now. Even if this isn't a great year for them, I think that they are perhaps only a season away from being a true contender.

We all have a love of SW in common, and then we can go off on other things like me and Exhaust Port does on Football. And I like it on a personal level b/c of the youngsters on here. I get to remember what it was like to be 16 and excited about driving and looking for toys and all that, I love seeing peoples enthusiasm.

But now it's desolved into this petty bickering. If someone wants to leave, that's their choice, they have a right, and I can understand their point. But if we start having this defection on a half way descent thread, it is gonna go down hill fast. Why can't we just use the thread to discuss. Hango, since you now own game cube, i highly suggest you purcase Rogue Leader II. It is the first game that i got when i got the cube last year (when it came out) and its still my fav. Oh yeah, i bet you could get it on ebay for around 25 bucks.

Whats nice about the GC is the game boxes have a little spot inside the box where you can put you'er memory card. Still havent gone on a hunt for a while but i will sooner or later.

To anyone in the Columbus area.....I found 4 TA Ani's at Kb Toy Works at Easton (and the repackaged Starfighter which sucks), 4-5 Ani's and 3 ST Darth Mauls at Meijer on Hamilton Rd. and a couple of Ani's at the Meijer on Cleveland Ave. Also a couple of Dooku and Mace unleashed at each Meijer.

Yes, it is easy to wield. It's very fast! None of my friends can keep up with it...well...then again, they suck at dueling. But this one helps me dominate even more so. :evil: :D

Yes, I would like to see the Hailfire Droid avatar. :) I can do a ton of stuff with that saber. I am currently using it and my Qui-Gon saber at once, like in the deleted scene. I like igniting it while holding it straight in the air then swooping it to the side like he did in the movie.

ooo...me too! i have that down too! i use my non-electronic ani's saber with dookus. it's non-electronic because when i first got it, i dropped it and it wouldn't turn on anymore. hehe! now it is a battered (not too battered) saber. the only thing bad about dooku's it that if you hold it twoards the top, the screw on lighting thing moves. i have to hold onto it tight. i will have your avatar in a minute.

Hey guys, I went to TRU today AND I GOT THE GUNSHIP!!!! it even looks cool on the box and i'm about to go open it and assemble it. They also had the 12'' dooku and the 12'' Luke and Taun Taun which is about as big as my little brother. Ok, ok i dont have a little brother but if i did, they'd be about the same size. Enough of my rambling, i've gotta go open my gunship.

Oh yeah, i could use a Pilot or 2 if any one could help me out with getting one than that would be grrrrreat.

Yeah, i'll go try puttin my red clone trooper in too! Good thing i got 3 of them on that one day that K mart had the sale for 3.00 a figure.

The only thing that bothers me about the ship is the sting on the grappling hook looks kinda shoddy, but overall it is one of my favorite vehicles yet. Oh yeah and the bombs are really sweet.

My TRU never really gets new stuff anymore (They are always on time with their exclusives, however), so there is an abundance of clones. I'm sure Hasbro will make different clones later on, too. I ought to get 2 or 3 Hailfire Droids, but that would be very expensive... I guess I'll just see when Christmas rolls around. :)

I went on a hunt today (WM) and there wasn't much in the way of figures, but they did have the Geonosian Arena! It looks pretty cool, but I couldn't afford it since I just bough the Gunship. Oh well, I'd MUCH rather have the Gunship. The Gunship looks a lot better than the Arena. Like I said-Hasbro will be hard-pressed to beat the Gunship.

I just went on a big hunt, and they didn't have anything, so I went to Kohls, a dept. store, just to look. And low and behold, in their tiny toy section, there were the SBD/Yoda and C-3PO/BD Deluxes! I bought the 3PO Assembly Line, it is awesome! They were $13.00, but when I went to check it out, the lady said it was on sale and I got it for $7.38!!! What a deal! Pretty good day for me. :) Oh, and they had a Gunship at TRU. Just thought I'd mention that.

FINALY!!!

I went to TRU not expecting to find anything when i was heading down towards the SW aisle and i saw two little kids juggling a TA ani and a Maul. I then ran towards the starwars section when i saw a boatload of Padme Pilots. I didnt beleive what i saw and while i was standing there in amazement i realized that i already had like 5 padme pilots in my hand. I grabbed the best one and then my cheif concern was finding the Maul and Ani. After searcing for about 40 seconds i found the Maul although still no Ani. I thought i was out of luck as far as getting an anakin, but then there was a miracle. A little boy grabbed a Reek and hiding behind that particular Reek was a Pristine Ani. Unfortunately i only brought 17 dollars so i had to settle with just the one Ani, maul, and padme. Well thats enough of my rambling just thought i'd let you guys know that i FINALY found something worth while after about 2 months of 23rd figures

I went to WM, no new figs, they did have about 3 Gunships and 4 Acklays though, and that talking Anakin saber. The handle looks great, I'll be passing on it though. And the Acklays boxes were different somehow...They looked smaller. Still plenty of Cantina Bar Sets.

I went to K-Mart today. 1 month ago it would have been a great trip........I saw the Arean Playset....didn't buy it.......saw Teemto, didn't buy, already got it.......saw Ki-Adi-Mundi, see previous.......saw the 2 packs. Kinda a cool idea. The best part about them is the cards are protected really really well in there, so if you have a sub-par Yoda or Hanger Duel Anakin, I highly recomend them....however, didn't buy them........

And whats up with the BCS Rankings. The Buckeyes are 6th behind ranked behind Notre Dame and Georgia. The BCS only accepts teams ranked 6 or up for at large bids. And Notre Dame would automatically be an at large bid b/c of not being in a conference. Which means that OSU has to win the BIG 10 Championship and go to the Rose Bowl or else it's back to the Citrus or Outback Bowl. Which righteously sucks because guess what.....Iowa is undefeated in the BIG 10 and Ohio State doesn't play Iowa. Meaning that if OSU and Iowa both go undefeated in the conference, Iowa would go to the Rose Bowl because OSU has been there since IOWA. Which also means that the BCS, which is meant to clean this crap up, will allow the 4 ranked team in the country go to a second or third place bowl game......

Yay! Fiftyness! :D Lets see...My first SW figure...It was 7 years ago, and I was at my local WM, which looked a lot different than it does now... I was looking in the toy aisle for...well...anything, and I had recently seen the Original Trilogy for the first time...So I went to the SW aisle and got Jedi Luke. He was my first figure, and I will always remember getting him. I still have all of his accessories and his cardback, and he is mint and loose. I remember the aisle exactly...There were orange carded '95 Vaders (I got him the next week, as my second figure), and TIE Pilots, and 3POs, and Electronic X-Wings, and AT-STs and Millenium Falcons...Man that brings me back, I miss the old days. I still get to experience that nostalgia sometimes...Like when I go to the local drug store (Which is closing soon) and find old Tuskens and Rancor Keepers on the pegs. I still have a great time finding the new Saga figures, but if I could travel back in time I'd love to go to 1995.

This memory brought back a wave of other memories...Memories of buying my first ship, the Landspeeder, to finding the SOTE figures (I can point out the exact shelf they were on to this day), to getting my Probe Droid, and seeing the awesome AT-AT for the first time, to seeing TRUs EP1 display, to buying the Saga SBD and Nikto as my first Saga figs. Seeing the Godlike Gunship arrive...

Then the Dark Times came... There was the time about a year ago when I wasn't buying anything. I'd look at the aisles, but other items had my interest, until my love for Star Wars turned...I know not how, but got injected, with some uncaring virulence that festered until...hold. These are memories I want none of, not now. Memories of missing accessories and lost Ree-Yees... Broken Snowspeeders, being returned...no. The Saga line had pulled me from that pit--Here, now, with these figures. This line was good. :) (<---Who got that reference? If you didn't, refer to my new sig.)

well mine is the time we found death star trooper (freeze frame) at k-mart. that was back when he was really rare and going for like 70-80 on soem internet site...

I remember finding the Ree-Yees, which was also very rare. And how it was lost, and still is to this day...I will wait, someday I'll find it again, hiding in some unnoticed corner, covered with dust and cobwebs... Someday I'll find it.

Since when does anybody on the internet know how to spell!!!!!! My brain explodes trying to read anything half the time. I've found spelling mistakes on Yahoo before. Hango is just the norm :)

Since I am apparently the old man on the forum, my first Star Wars toy memory is in 1983 when my mother and me were in Childrens Palace and she bought me the original Jabba the Hutt. I remember us looking through the isles for Salicious Crumb (i'm not sure how to spell that) b/c she didn't realize that it came with the Jabba.

I can remember opening my ROTJ Jedi Luke as soon as I got into the car. My dad had bought a 6' long 2X4 and we had it in the car and I was making the Luke jump on and off the 2X4. Unfortunately, I was playing not collecting. The various toys got lost over the years and I have nothing left. I started collecting a little in 1997 when the S.E. came out, and I went full tilt collecting in 1999 when TPE came out.

And to put it all in perspective, I paid $2 (or less) for the Luke in 1983, I just bought the same Luke at Celebration 2 for $60........

I remember the first figure I ever got though was the SAGA R2 coruscant sentry. I thought that if i hardly ever press that little button that makes it beep, i'd work for a while and in 30 years or so, i could rave that its like thirty years old and the little noise and light still works:D :D :cool: :cool:

Went to Super-K Mart they had like 5 pallets of toys but no SW on them.:mad: :mad: Wal-Mart still has some Cantina Sets, no Arena sets or new figures. I want that dlx clone w/ speederbike!!!! :D :D HH

that is the last one we need of the ones that are out now. my dad says we have to wait because he just spent like 50-70 bucks on figures off ebay...but hey! at least we have them!
