Glad you like the avatar. I don't know why I have it eating Tuskens, but... Anyway, back on topic. :D There wasn't anything new at WM, no Acklay or Maul or TA Anakin, but I did pick up the Deluxe Mace w/ (Cream) Battle Droid. It is really nice! I am happy with what I found.

Hello All!!

Glad to be back to the OH collector club forums, unfortunately I will be going out of town for another 10 days so exhaust port will remain VP.

The trip was great but my parents where not in the mood to take me anywhere and hunt for figures :( I almost cried when we passed 3 TRUs and 5 Wal Marts on the way home and i was'nt able to go into any of them! SHUCKS...

we were [I]going[I] to go to target but the road to get there was closed! we might go (if i don't have to work) tomorrow on a diffrent road......but, went to meijers and wal-mart. wal-mart=nothing besides jango room alarms meijers=ANOTHER TA anikan! I got it for myself and went marily to the self checkout.
happy day!......oh, but the anikan let me down....his "kicking action" sucks and his LS is the same as bespin lukes!!! AND the tusken wepon rack doesn't stand up for anything! but the ohter accessorys are good and the figure has a good sculpt!

I found the X-Wing at the Hamilton Rd. TRU and the Sawmill TRU. No Landspeeder though. I also found Ki Adi Mundi at Brice Rd. Meijers. It was the only one they had though.

I went to TRU and KB Toys today, they didn't have much at KB, but TRU did have some X-Wings (Which I didn't get), but I did get a RedGuard, which I needed. Now I just need one more...The pegs were very messy so I rearranged them and they look all nice now. :D
EDIT-Oh yes, I forgot. I went to Target. They had nothing worth buying. I don't think my Target plans on getting the new accesory sets. Hell, they don't even plan on getting Bespin Luke...

Don't worry, I'm not taking it too seriously, we're all friends here. :) I am rooting for Dooku because I like him more than Yoda. I just prefer Sith, and I am rooting for my own team. :D Yoda is cool, but I like Dooku more. Besides, not many Force-users can take out a Jedi and his Padawan (Not an ordinary Padawan either) and survive a fight with Yoda.

I hit the local TRU as well as 2 Targets for the first time in a few weeks with nothing new. Both the Targets had reduced there space dedicated to SW to about 3 vertical pegs worth. Very sad to see. The TRU had mountains of figures left on the pegs as well as one big bin overflowing with figures. The only way they'll get rid of those is with a price slash or sale. Until those peg warmers are gone there won't be anything new showing up for quite a while. At this point my interest in the 4" SW line has just about dried up completely. I'm keeping an eye out for the new 12" figures later this year but that will be about it.

we might see the new action fleet (whatever they are...AT-AT and something else) before we see any new 4" figs...BTW, just checked the WM and meijers around us and nothing new at either place. the action fleet are quickly becoming shelf warmers! no new unleashed either....

Yes, everyone is ok. I was the only one there when it happened. I appreciate your concern. :) I experienced 3 tornadoes when I was 10 at Cedar Point...Funny...Most people don't even experience one. I finally found the answer to that thread "Which one would you save?". After getting my pets downstairs safely, I rushed up and got my TIE Bomber. :D I guess that's the one I'd save.
EDIT-Thanks for reminding me, my TIE Bomber is still down there. I have to go get it. :D

I dont know what category. It didnt hit my house (I have over 5 acres) but a tree sort of fell on it. A few trees are down, but its not too bad. I had to clean up all day, I didnt get any sleep because the power was out and there was no AC. :(

no power...that is a nightmare for us. it's a bit of a story but here goes..
we have a sub pump. it runs on electricity. power goes out, it floods in our basment. even if we get 2 tenths of an inch of rain, the rain STILL comes up within 5 feet of the rim of the pump. how do i know that? because there is a built in alarm (it obviously runs on batteries..) that gives an on-going whistle that can drive you mad. so, therefore, my dad and i have to get the generator running and plug the extention cord into the generator. we were very lucky that our power didn't go out last night....the line of storms were just north of us. needless to say, we had our shoes on last night and were ready for a storm.

whooo! theres my story for the day! now my fingers hurt!!!

I went to Target and TRU today, neither had much figure-wise. But TRU had the Landspeeder and X-Wing, and my dad bought me the X-Wing, even though I didn't have any money, which was nice. The X-Wing is really cool! Much bigger and nicer than the old one, I really like it. :)

I am in Trumbull County (Northeast Ohio). The TRU is in a mall called the Eastwood Mall. They had about 4 or 5, are they uncommon? I'm not going to get one, it is just too similar to the old one for my tastes.

I was starting to "FREAK-OUT" because I couldn't find the gunship after the 15th down in Tampa/St. Pete. But as I have read on other posts that the date has been pushed back???:confused: I was going on hunts almost every other day to Wal-Mart, Target, and TRU looking for that gunship. The only really new item I saw was the X-Wing. No Teemto, Maul, Ki-Adi...ect... I think that the distribution in Ohio is better then in Tampa/St. Pete. Talk to ya....

Disney was a blast but im happy to be back!!
The Star Tours Store was a Goldmine especially because you can only get in if you have a pass to Disney (which we did:D ) any ways heres what i got:

Ponda Boba and Momaw Nadon Cantina Bar Sectoins (which i was surprised to see) they were out of greedo though...

oh yeah, and an Aurra sing and also a stormtrooper builder set!!

Although thats all i was able to get they also had lots of other cool stuff:
- POTJ 12 inch ultimate luke (which i really really wanted)
- Saga ultimate jango
- Saga x wing
- Saga Land speeder
- Master Piece Edition Aurra Sing
- Master Piece edition threepio
- Deluxe Mace with Red Battle droid

- 12 inch death star guy

They also had alot of other costumes, comics and books (like the SW cook book showing how to make "Wookie Cookies" and "Yoda Soda":D ) and they had the Star Tour Wookie bowcaster and all the other toy guns that are exclusives there too!!

I went to WM. Nothing. Target. Nothing. I have given up on the following figures,etc.-Acklay, any of the Target accessory packs, TA Anakin and Maul. Hasbro, if you are reading this, we do exist. We need Acklays. Thanks a lot Hasbro, you've given us a Nexu and Reek (Plenty of those, may I add). No Acklay. We have 2 of the 3 Arena Beasts, can you say "Incomplete dioramas?" To quote Han Solo, you fixed us up real good... :mad:

So true, so true...If the aisles were bigger, there wouldn't be so much surplus. It would be spread out more evenly. Ever since the aisle in WM shrunk I haven't seen ONE empty peg. Nothing good on the pegs either, all Zams and stuff. Oh, there are so many REEK that you can barely pull one out from under the shelf. They're practically stuck there! I want to hide some REEK in the womens underwear section or something, then they might bring in the Acklay. At least I got the TRU X-Wing, I have a feeling I won't find anything else for a while.

EDIT- I just imagined how some woman would react after taking a bra off the...umm...peg (?) and seeing a big ol' REEK staring at them. :D

The length is one of the reasons I changed that sig. It was starting to get boring, too...I know! Why don't I just go to the damned Hasbro site and ask them about the Lacklay (Lack of Acklay :D). Maybe they'll answer...or something. If not, I'll print out a bunch of pictures of Rick McCallum and tape them all over the REEK. Bwahahahahaha! :evil:...Ok, calming down now...

Its the Theater Edition Luke Skywalker. Anyways i've pretty much concluded that im not going to trade the star tours figures for it anyways...

well, it's worth 110 bucks...we got lucky on ebay and got it for like 25. but the star tours figs are not worth it, like you said.

Ya i know... The Star Tours were $10.00 each so for the 3 i got it was 30 bucks and then there was the hastle of taking them home on the plane. If i really wanted the Luke i would just do what you did and purchase it for around 25 on ebay. Pretty much all i'll trade the Star Tours Figures for is a TF Vader which sounds like a huge rip, but hey, theres gotta be some one out there that would...

hopefully, tomorow i'll have some luck at WM and MER's(meijers) meijers is our best bet because they re-aranged for x-mas (i think) a while back when they re-did the store...they moved the toys from the back of the store to the front left.and there stock is not very high so maybe, just maybe we can find something!

yeah...i can't even get up high enough to reach half the reek at meijers. they are stacked up to about 7 or 8 feet! but i say there is a good 50-60 there. but i will do a head count to try and see how many i need to buy to get ride of them and get out the acklay.

cool! BTW, my dad just got back from getting our van back from repairs and he stopped at a wal-mart up there(sidney ohio) and found all 3 of the cantina bar sets! i wish they could have had diffrent accessorys for each but oh well.

I'm glad you found those, God knows I won't. But the Bar Sets I really want are the ones with new figures, especially Kitik Keed'Kak. I'm glad you found them. :) My parents have the camera now (They are away) so it will be a bit longer until I get the new avatar and pictures. There was a big ol' snake outside, I wish I had gotten a picture of it...

ok. just got back from antoher trip to a wal-mart. this time the one west of us. tomorrow is the one east of us! anywho....nothing new, but i did do a head count of the reeks at the wal-mart and the k-mart i went to. wal-mart:7 k-mart:2. just letting you know!
BTW, the stickers are still on the bar sets, and they say 09/25/02. does that mean that that is when they plan to move them or get more??? because this month is 8. not 9. ?????????

i can't even get a car if i have anything below a c! but i only have one really hard class this year...bio. she said that the tests are very hard if you don't catch what the book wants you to get from it. but i can pass it if i pay attention and not think about the girl i'm in love with and SW. today was a good day, women-wise! but i might PM you jedi drew if you would possibly want to know the whole story which i doubt anyone does...(no, it's not gross or anything like that)

Do i get the impression that I'm like the only adult here. I see alot of post about H.S. and mom driving people to stores. I don't see nothing about the f*#&ing engineer gave me a job at 11:45am that had to meet a deadline by 1:00pm so I couldn't go out Star Wars hunting on my lunch break........oh wait, I'm sorry. I went off there a little bit. My bad.
Anyway, I found the Landspeeder today at the TRU on Sawmill Rd. in C-bus. They had about 5 left. There was also still 2 X-Wings. There also finally seemed to be a dent made in the figs on pegs and in the bin, so maybe it will get restocked soon-hopefully with Teemto, TAA, Watto, Lott, TR w/Massif, CAP, and....whatever else is out now.

I went to TRU, they didn't have much, just a HD Anakin. I have him already, but it's always sort of interesting to see HD Anakin/Dooku/Yoda. Plenty of Landspeeders. Oh, yes, there were about 9 REEK.

yes! found darth maul sith training! they had 3 of them way up on a shelf about the same height as the reek are on...luckily, there was a ladder right by them and a nice lady came and let me view what was in them. lo and behold, there where 3 DM. we got 2 and another guy who apparently collects got 1. he must know his figures if he knew the name darth maul sith training. that was at meijers. they shifted there figures down to the front of the isle. at wal-mart, they had 3 of each of the cantina sets (yes, that includes greedo.) but i was smart enough to save my 14 bucks and use it towards the DM. BTW, if i had gone camping with macewindu87,(he wanted me too but i said no.) i would not have found the DM's. they were up top and my dad didn't think there would be anything new up there. ha ha!
BTW again! the dath maul is one hell of a figure. excelent saber and sculpt...just one problem. the magnet on his hand doesn't work to well...probably because the weight of the metal saber is to much for it...

i've noticed that none of the magnets work too well. the Bespin Vader, you got to put the saber in his hand for it to pick it up, and then in looks like it's gonna fall off. I'm gonna be in WVA until monday so i'm hoping maybe I'll find stuff. My last trip down there I found the Unleashed Maul and Jango down there about a month before they hit here in C-bus. Time before that I found Nexu, Deluxe Anakin, and GWw/Massif about a month before C-bus. Time before that I found the Rebel Trooper and Imperial Officer and I never saw those in C-bus. and back in March, I found a whole bunch of older POTJ stuff released in 2000 that I never bought. So hopefullly I'll find something good. There's also a small collectable stand in Huntington Mall that sells old POTF2 stuff but I don't think I'll get there. But I'll try.

O.K. I broke down and went on a mini-hunt yesterday and found nothing at all!!!!:frus: :frus: :frus: We rented out TLOR on DVD and thought it was FAIR. I guess you have to read the book-the books are always better. Example-Hunt For Red October was O.K. as a movie but the book kicks some A@@. Have a good Holiday....and HH :D :D

well, i'm currently in God's Country-Wild and Wonderful WVA. I managed to snag Greedo at WalMart. I went to a TRU, but they didn't have anything. There was a bunch of HD Anakins which are always cool to see on the shelf as was pointed out before. I'm gonna stop at a few stores that I pass on the way home, but it appears that from a Star Wars front, my trip was not too productive.

dang....hasbro really needs to re-think there distrubution because i was lucky to find any of the ki-adi,teemto, TA ani,or darth maul ST.......another reason is that they moved everything because of damned x-mas and harry potter and LOTR...get your own isle!

i found all of the new deluxes, all of the basic 3 3/4" figures, all the unleashed and the republic gunship in my dream hunt. they had like 5 of each so i picked one up for all of us!

Went on a hunt today......Target has all of the new 12", but since I don't collect the 12" I passed. I thought that since Target has the new 12" I may score some new figures. :eek: :eek: Well, TRU had nothing new (no more Landspeeders), KB nothing new. So I said to myself Wally World HAS to have something......NOTHING new at Wally World. So I wasted an hour and some gas on my "HUNT." Where the H@LL are the new figures and Gunship :frus: :frus: :frus: Talk to ya and HH.

I need to take days off of work more often. Today I found TA Anakin, ST Darth Maul, and Teemto!!!!!! I don't collect the 12" line, but the Target at Easton has the 12" Count Dooku. There was about 4 or 5 of them. I'll say this about it, for a 12" fig, this one is pretty darn cool. I may wind up going back and getting it tonight after I talk myself into it. They had the Zam also, but it seems like I've seen that one somewhere before, but not that often.

When I was in WVA, I went to a Kroger to get some stuff to grill hamburgers for the family. In the toy isle there were 3 action figs. (dexter, sasee, & Nikto). But what's really funny, is that Kroger had about 10 Reeks!!!!!!! I hate those D@&% things!!!!

I just went on a hunt and they didn't have much but I did get a Battle Droid. I like it! I don't really see any problems with it, just the one leg which is bendy. I know, it's really great! The great thing is, there really aren't a whole lot of people so everybody gets heard and you have enough time to reads everybody's finds. People actually talk to each other here. :)

I know this isn't like finding cool stuff or anything at the store, but I thought I'd share anyway. I just traded and old guitar that barely worked and an amp I got at a garage sale for $15 for an Electronic Milenium Falcon, Mos Espa Encounter Cinascene, and an Episode 1 sneek peak Mace Windu still sealed in the brown mail pakaging. Later on I'll also be getting the lightsaber attack qui-gon jinn and maybe some other action figs. I'm pretty happy

P.S.-Who else caught that Browns game today. THAT WAS FREEKING TERRIBLE. RUDD SHOULD BE DRUG OUT TO THE HARD ROCK CAFE, PUT IN STOCKS, AND LET ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO BEAT HIM REPEATEDLY!!!!!!!!!! You know what's gonna happen......the Browns are gonna go 9-7 and miss the bleeding playoffs by 1 game!!!!!!

I FOUND IT!!! I FOUND IT!!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!! I found the Acklay!!! There was only one at my WM and I got it! It is really great, I love it! By far the coolest of the Arena Beasts. They had some gunships there, too.
